It's Saturday night and I feel like I should be doing something. A party, a sleepover, anything. Brooke had been telling me about her and CJ, apparently she likes him a lot and is going on a date with him this weekend. I don't remember if she said Friday night or Saturday night so I shot her a text.

'What are you doing tonight?' I wrote.

Only a few seconds later I got one back.

'At Kate's house... did you have something in mind?'

'No never mind.'

I threw my phone down on my bed. She's at Kate's house, ugh. I like

Kate... sort of. She's Brooke's friend and I sit with her at lunch and all, but sometimes I just feel that she's a spoiled brat. She's a bully at school mostly and always gets her way. It sure would be a rough life being on her bad side.

Having no plans for the night I decided to pull out a book and read. I actually like reading. Brooke likes to tease me and call me a nerd but her jokes don't influence my reading habits one bit. When I read a book I feel like I'm there, like it's my escape from the stress filled world I'm in right now. My favorite ones to escape to are romance novels, normally works by Nicholas Sparks, or at the moment a teen fiction my Cassandra Clare.

I opened my book to the bookmarked page and began to indulge in the reading. I didn't get far before there was a light knock on my door.

"Come in." I sighed and placed my book on the bedside table. The door creaked open, I expected it to be my mom or sister but was surprised when a curly haired face popped his head into my room.

"Harry?" he came in fully.

"Hey." walking over to my bed and taking a seat at the edge with confidence.

"What's up?"

"Janes doing some essay and is really cranky, said she needed to concentrate."

"So you came in here?"

"Yeah only for a little while." he smiled. "How's your head?"

"Doesn't hurt much anymore." I admitted, it's not nearly healed but the pain has gone down. I just hope that it doesn't leave a scar.

"Good." he said plainly, it's almost like he's at a loss for words which is weird because he always seems to have something cocky or perverted to say.

"Did that hurt?" I pointed at his eyebrow ring trying to start a conversation.

"No not really, these stung a little but that was it." he said tugging on the rings pierced through his bottom lip. I would never have the courage to pierce anything on my face.

The conversation was dropped again leaving silance. Until he finally spoke up.

"Is this what you always do on a Saturday night?"

"What?" he gestured to my abandoned book "oh well my friends are busy and I kinda wasn't invited."

"Sucky friends."

"No, not really I don't like the one girl so I would've turned down the invitation anyway. What about you and Jane, no party tonight?"

He laughed softly "no we usually spend our Friday and Saturday nights together."

"Lame."

"Better than staying home and reading all night."

"Whatever." I lightly punched him in the shoulder. He pretended to wince and then pushed my outstretched legs off the edge of the bed nearly sending my whole body with them. I squeaked then regained my balance now sitting right next to Harry.
