"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ANYMORE!" he yelled, then the sharp sound of a gun cracked in the air. That was it, my mom was gone. I quickly grabbed my backpack and jumped out my window, running to Oliver's house. Once I reached their door step, screeching sirens filled the silent night.
