    The room went silent after Mary's confession . She stood still watching each of her son's reactions .   The tension in the room was thick as the silence grew .

    You couldnt blame Sam or Dean for not knowing what to say about this . Hearing that their mother was working the British  men of letters after everything they had done was quite a shock.

 You felt Dean place both of his hands on your shoulders from where he stood behind you as you sat at the table.  He gave your shoulders a squeeze.   You reached up and place a hand over his to show him comfort  you knew he was seeking.

  Mary was the first to break the silence  "  I know what you are thinking " she said .. " Really" Dean said voice cold Mary sigh .. "Dean dont give me that face " she said

 " what face  ?" he asked  "That face  " she said " let me explain  you glanced up at him and he was glaring at his mother but you saw the hurt in his eyes  . You knew what he was thinking  . Family should come first and Mary hadn't been doing that.

  You all listen to Mary explain how she been working  with the men of letter for a while now  . " so that hunt with your hunter friend ?" Sam asked  ..  Mary sigh a sad look passing across her face .

  " I  pulled him into that case he didnt bring it to me  . Mick asked me to look into the Demon .. I hadn't been aware that it wasnt an ordinary demon at the time " she said

  " well because your precious men of letters  Cas almost died and  your friend is dead " Dean replied  "dont you think I know that  " Mary said  " I am the one who had to burn his body and I am the one who had to go comfort his wife  " she said

    No emotion cross Dean's face as he stare at his mother. " so when you told us you need space .. We gave you space .. But in truth  it wasnt space you needed it was space from us  " he said  a little emotion finally showing through from the crack in his voice.

  "That not it Dean "Mary said looking torn  " they are really making a difference  in the fight against monster I am doing this for your future.."

she said. " Dean just shook his head looking away

  Mary turned to Sam who had gone strangely quiet throughout the whole ordeal.  He looked up at his mother .. " we  have been doing just fine with what we have " he said

  "We dont need them and their methods.." he said and you knew he was thinking of his kidnapping what had been done to him.  That thought alone made you angry

  You knew it still made Dean angry  and now their mom just admitted to be working for the same people  that had kidnapped her own son and did who knows what to him and was going to kill him.

  "  Sam  this  is not all bad.. " she said and you sigh and stood up as pain flash across Sam face..  "Look the point here is that to Dean and Sam family comes first " you said

  " that how It been their whole life " They both have literally died for each other " and they would give their life for you in a heartbeat "  so to have you come back in  their lives after so many years gone and tell them after  only weeks you  need time ." Only to end up working the same people that try to kill them ."

  " how do you expect them to just accept that " you asked  stopping at that point and the whole room went silent  . You sigh turning around you grab Dean 's hand giving it a squeeze before you slip around and left the room feeling  you said more than you  should have . This was between  them and their mother.

    You quickly walked back towards the bedroom and  shut yourself inside where you changed your clothes  and crawled onto the bed . You reached for your IPOD  turning to your favorite playlist you turned up the volume and  laid down  on your stomach and just closed your eyes and tried to lose yourself into the music.

    You hope that you didnt make thing worse with their mom  you knew you should have just stayed out of it.  You hope they were too mad at you . After  a few minutes the door open and you lifted  your head off the bed and watched Dean as he walked in shutting the door behind him.

  you sat up staying silent just watching him.  He walked over and sat down on the bed . Leaning forward on his knees  he just stared down  at the floor . You saw the tension in his shoulders.

    You crawled  over  to him and slip  your arms over his shoulders so your hands slid down his chest . You pressed a kiss to the side of his neck.  " I am sorry  " you said .

 " why are you sorry ?"  he asked as raised one of your hands up to his lips and pressed a kissed to it.   " Those things I said to your mother " you replied  resting your chin on his shoulder with a sigh.

  " I should have kept my mouth closed   I dont want to make things worse for you guys  " You didnt "he replied   "You were making more sense than my own mother was.  " he said shaking his head

 " I just don't understand her  " he said  " well that doesnt  mean you have to stop trying" you said  " so let everyone have some space to figure things out "  because at the end of the day  she still your mom and I can tell  bad choice or not  she still loves you and Sam

 He shifted to where he was facing you and reached around you and pulled you in for a kiss. " And what about you ?" he asked softly in between kisses

  you smiled  " Well  you know that you  I love you and you will always come first in my mind   . " you said  " But that is what family is for  "  you added.

    He had you in his arms and pulled into a kiss before you could take your next breath .
