Chapter 19 "sparring at the beach"

The tournament was over and the all-stars were fewer than before. They lost two of their friends which had taken a small toll on all of them. It also made them realize just how much they needed to train.

"I'm aware that we lost a few friends why don't we setup a friendly tournament with just us. Four people on field teams of two." Skylar was enthusiastic about it.

"You mean to like commemorate them." Skylar nodded at the comment Riley made. It would take a bit to organize the tournament but for now they could go do something together.

"It'll take a while to set it all up. So why don't we go to the beach for today." Ness suggested to Skylar who nodded. Everyone else went to get ready to go to the beach enthusiastically.

Arial was taking off his cloak and everyone gasped. Skylar played suspenseful music on his trombone. Aria folded it neatly and tuned around to reveal a pale bay with jet black hair, dark grey eyes with a hint of blue in them. He was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a dark blue T-shirt.

"Arial why didn't you ever take off your cloak before?" Skylar asked as he put away his trombone. Arial shrugged and went to change into something more suitable for summer.

As soon as everyone was ready they went down to eat breakfast. Today was quieter since a few brawlers were packing up to go home.

The only thing that seemed normal was how Link and Skylar were arguing. Their arguments weren't rude or hateful anymore. They seemed to at least tolerate each other rather that always trying to strangle the other.

"Shut the fuck up dude I totally could've beaten you." Link and Skylar were laughing their asses off and joking with each other.

"Now that's something I never thought I'd see." Toon Link and Marth turned towards each other then looked at Link and Skylar then back to each other. They burst out laughing realizing that they said the exact same thing.

Things really were changing and the rivalries were slowly becoming friendships. This fact was started when the others saw how happy the all-stars were since they were all friends. Even if they battle each other they still have friendship and respect for the others.

"This place was different when I first came here." Skylar had said as he looked around. Toon Link nodded

"Yeah I noticed that too." He shrugged and they waited for the others to finish eating.

"People weren't as happy or friendly." Lucas added after finishing his food.
