Once we passed through that portal, we were all laying on the ground in a place we've never seen. I awoke to find myself laying on the ground but as I looked up, I noticed that we were in a clearing with trees all around us. It seemed like we were in a forest of some kind, but not one I recognized. But as I looked up, I see the portal we came through closing until it completely vanishes.

"W-what happened Dante?," Alexis asks softly as she slowly wakes up in pain. I moved to help her up, looking around and seeing how many people followed us into the portal. There was some students that I didn't recognize that were part of our class, I figured it was the students that kept out of the spotlight. Slowly but surely, everyone else woke up from our trip through it.

"I'm not sure. It's a forest of some kind. But I don't feel comfortable here. It feels like something is watching us," I tell her as everyone looks around to try and understand where we're at.

I hear one of the students say, "it looks like the Congo, but there's no way we could be here."

Overhead above the trees I see a group of birds flying over us as if something had startled them. As I watched them fly by, I'm hearing what sounds like an animal racing towards us but I can't tell what it is.

"Everyone! Get up and get on your feet! Something's coming this way!" I scream aloud so they all can here me.

But just as soon as everyone scatters to their feet, still in their suits and dresses, lions jump through the trees and appear before us. Another jumps from the same region, gliding over us as it lands on a fallen tree that lay behind us. As I quickly turn around, I see someone on the lion. Riding this great beast is a taller woman in a full green outfit ranging from dark to semi-bright variations.

Her suit consisted of brown leather boots where they ended to a point, fingerless leather gloves. She wore skintight dark green pants with a semi-revealing that allowed you to see the stunning curvature of her body. Down from her toned legs to her petite ass, her slim body up to her perky breasts, to her broad shoulders and a face that any man would want to kiss. Slightly pointed ears, bright red lips, beautiful bright green eyes.

"W-Who are you?" I asked hesitantly looking at the lions as I was more worried about being eaten than facing a lady.

"I am the Goddess Artemis. I'm the huntress of this forest," she says proudly as she leaps off of the lion she rode and lands in front of me. She was shorter than I was, I'd say about 5'10". "How are you humans here? Humans are not welcomed in the Realm Of The Olympians," she scolds us.

I calmly tell her, "We're not sure how we got here. We came through a portal of sorts and the next thing we know, we're on the floor here."

"This portal, was there two men that you followed?" she asks sounding slightly concerned, but I couldn't fully tell.

"Yes! There were two men that took our families. One of them was causing all kinds of bloodshed before we left," I frantically tell Artemis. But now she seemed concerned, a little too concerned.

"I see. I think I know who those men were. And wait a second...I'm getting a distinct scent from you boy. What's your name??"

"My name is Dante Russo lady Artemis."

Her eyes widened with concern, "now I know who you are!" As she jumps backwards, she lands back onto her beast and tells us, "I'll tell you what. I'll give you humans till the three days to prepare yourselves to be hunted. I've been in need of new prey recently. If you survive it, I'll let you proceed through the realm to find your family members. Should you die, you'll forever be bound here to Hades and the underworld for trespassing in places you don't belong."

Everyone that's with me looks to each other in disbelief. We're about to be hunted by Artemis herself? How did we end up in this situation in the first place? I have so many questions but none of them can be answered right now.

Almost everyone nods their head ready to accept her challenge. Even though I can tell everyone is scared like no tomorrow, it's not exactly like we have a choice to refuse. "Very well Artemis, we accept your challenge," I boldly tell her as I'm scared shitless in my mind. "We'll be waiting for you..."

As I said that, I saw a sinister smirk on her face before she rode off into the forest with her pack. I knew in that moment, this was now life or death. If she really was the Artemis of legend, we were going to have a lot of trouble surviving.
