Lucy's POV
It's been a week since Natsu Joined my school and so far it's been great. I haven't been bullied by lisanna once and Natsu and I have become closer as friends. I even became friends with a girl called Levy, who I met while in the library, we fangirled over the mortal instruments. I also became friends with a guy called Gray but he's more of a friend to Natsu even if they are constantly fighting each other.
I never had the feeling of having friends to hang out with before but when Natsu came into my life i suddenly have three.
Nothing is going to ruin this high I'm on right now, not even lisanna because I know I have my friends to help me out.
At the moment, Natsu and I are sat down on a rickety, wooden, bench behind the school, where no one really goes because it's only meant for the garden club to use. But lucky for us the garden club barely come to this garden when they got a new green house.
"Hey Luce?" Natsu asked.
To focused on eating this amazing tuna and sweet corn sandwich I had in my hands, I hummed in response.
"I was wondering what caused you to get bullied so much that you almost... you know?"
As he said that my mouth was full of tuna and bread so I had to quickly swallow it before actually responding, which made Natsu laugh.
"Why do you ask?"
Not wanting answer, I stalled.
"Well we are becoming closer as friends and if I was to be you best friend I have to know your every little secret and in return you get to know mine." He confessed slowly.
"And... what if I don't want you to be my best friend?" I counted as a joke while also trying to avoid his question.
He quickly grabbed his chest as if he had been shot and he was in a lot of pain.
"I'm hurt." He laughed again "I thought everyone would want to be my friend. Like, who wouldn't want all of this?" As he boasted he flexed his muscles and I jabbed him in the side causing him to jump up.
"Oh,that's it heartfilia. You better run."
Not wanting to find out what he was going to do, I jumped up, stuffed the rest of my sandwich in my mouth and ran into the garden.
I stopped at the back of the garden to catch my breath and swallow the sandwich, when I realised that I couldn't see Natsu.
Just as I started to panic that Natsu had ditched me someone had grabbed me from behind and flung me over their shoulder.
"Now Luce, I think I should carry you around all lunch like this."
I was hung over his shoulder with my face hanging by his, perfectly shaped ass (For god sake brain shut up) and my butt was by his face. Thank the lord for me wearing trousers.
He walked back over to the bench, with me still hanging like a bag of potatoes, and he picked up both of our bags then started to heading towards the school field where everyone is at lunch.
"Natsu what are you doing?!" I squirm trying to escape.
He put his hand just above my butt which made me gasp and Natsu giggle.
"I'm getting payback for jabbing me."
"People will think we are together." I blush at the thought of Natsu and I being boyfriend and girlfriend.
"So, let them think." Say what now?
We had reached the field and I could feel people staring at us. As I look up i could see the people that we had already passed talking about us. Ohh god I'm not good in this type of situation where people are taking about me.
Suddenly we stop.
"Hey why did we stop you better not drop me!" I breathed as not much air is getting in my lungs as I'm upside down.
"Natsu why is Lucy on your shoulder?" I heard Gray say.
"She jabbed me this is punishment."
"All I did was jab your side with my finger and now my stomach is getting impaled by your shoulder blade!" I challenged
"Correction my shoulder is just jabbing your belly."
Gray just laughed
"Having fun Natsu?" Levy asked as she walked over.
"Yep I'm just enjoying the little things" he said with his hand moving dangerously low.
"Levy help me" I begged.
"Sorry Lou Lou but Natsu is to tall for me."
"So much for so called friends."

Natsu's POV
I stood talking to Gray and levy with Lucy on my shoulder. Her butt was right in my face. It is literally killing me not doing anything right now but I can't because we are just friends.
Suddenly the bell goes, signalling the end of lunch. I decided that I would be a bit mean and I carried Lucy all the way to o next class on my shoulders which earned a few dirty looks from lisanna and co.
After today I knew that I did like Lucy and I have to do everything in my power to get her to be mine.
