Memorize the following vowels

ㅣ      I

ㅏ       A

ㅓ        EO  *sounds like an uh in English

ㅡ        EU  *sounds similar to oo in English

Korean writing format:

Korean is written in a block-like format and each block always makes one syllable.

Vowels in a word are always paired with a consonant (joined if I can say), usually Korean words take more than one syllable to make a word.
