Today there was a Quidditch game, Slytherin vs. Gryffindor. "Hey, good luck out there!" Draco yelled and gave you a hug. "Thanks," you said hugging back. Your team was already flying out. You winked at Harry, "Don't go easy on me just because we are friends!" you yelled at him. "You too!" he yelled. Harry first flew out and everyone cheered. He got into position then you flew out. There were even more cheers and claps. "Well, wizards and witches, this is gonna be one of a game. The two best seekers going against each other!" Everyone cheered. Draco looked at you. You winked. "3, 2, 1... START" The whistle blew and you and Harry searched for the snitch. You and Harry spotted it at the same time. You looked at each other and smirked. You and Harry flew trying to catch it.
"150-20 for Slytherin!" Slytherin cheered as you and Harry were flying side by side, trying to catch the snitch. "200-100 for Slytherin!" You started to fly faster as the score was being called out. You reached your hand out and fell off of your broom. You hit the ground and groaned. Everyone gasped. You held your fist up and revealed that you had caught the snitch. Everyone from Slytherin cheered. Your team flew down and carried you on their shoulders. "Slytherin house wins!"
"Good game," You said to Harry. You put out your hand for him to shake. "Good game," he replied and shook your hand with a smile. Draco walked up to you and gave you a hug. "Nice job!" he said to you. You hugged back, but not how you would usually hug back. It was loose. He pulled back. "Are we cool? What's wrong?" Draco asked. "Of course, why wouldn't we be?" you sighed and walked off with Harry. You didn't want to get in the way of Draco and Pansy. They would always spend time together, so you decided to not interact with Draco as much as you had used to.
You changed into your robes and walked into the dining hall where everyone was. When you walked in, everyone started to congratulate and cheer for you. "Good job!" Crabbe said. You sat down next to Crabbe instead of Draco today. "Are you and Draco cool?" Crabbe asked. "Well, not really... It just pisses me off. Pansy and her pug face getting in the way-" you stopped yourself. "Yea, we're cool," you sighed. Pansy was, of course, talking to Draco. "Hey, y/n?" Draco said, interrupting Pansy. You looked up. "Do you want to hang out? I'm pretty bored," Draco asked. Your face lit up. "Sure!" you said. After your guys' last class, you and Draco walked over to the Three Broomsticks. "Two butterbeers, please," Draco ordered. You two sat in silence for a while. "How have you been?" Draco asked, breaking the silence. You put a piece of your (y/h/c) hair behind your ear. "How have you been?" you asked avoiding his question. "I've been alright. I miss you," he said. You blushed as he said that. "Why? We have almost every class together," you said, looking down. "You've been acting strange lately. Like, you're trying to avoid me." He said. As he said that, Pansy Parkinson walked in and sat next to Draco. While they weren't looking, you rolled your eyes. "Hey Drakey, y/n."
"Why do you call him Drakey? Just curious," you asked, annoyed. "He's my boyfriend, y/n," she said with a smirk. You sat there frozen. Tears started to form in your eyes. "Wha-" Draco tried to say. "AWEEEE, that's so cute! I'm so happy for you!" you gave a smile to him. "I have to go now, see you guys later!" you said, fast walking back to Hogwarts. Your fake smile quickly turned into sobs as you left the Three Broomsticks.
*Last day of school*
"Well, gotta head back home," You said. You headed to the Hogwarts Express and sat in a cart alone instead of with Draco. You watched Draco and Pansy talk with each other. She laid her head on his shoulder. You turned away and looked at the ground.
You thought to yourself, 'The pain that my parents give me is nothing compared to the pain I feel when I see them together.'
