Chapter #1 | John's descent into Houston

John's P.O.V.

" hello passengers, please seat your selves as we begin our decent into Houston, Texas, and thank you for riding  Alternia airlines" I hear go over the the overhead speaker

well, I guess I should wake Dad and Jake up... wait Jake is already up, oh right... he's meeting Dirk in person for the first time...

and i get to see Dave for the first time!!

but I have to wait until the plane lands, and then... well, Dave told me to look for a teen wearing the stiller shades i gave him and two guys with pointy shades, at baggage claim.. okay...

"Hey John?" Jake asked

"Oh, Yeah Jake?" i respond

I see his tired expression turn to a excited yet mischievous one

"when we land an' find 'em, how's 'bout we scare the socks' off our respective Striders'?" he says with a small smirk

I nod with a similar expression, "Yeah, that's sounds like a lot of fun!

my smile goes from happy to a nervous one, and i look down at my hands and twiddle my thumbs, a nervous habit honestly, but the only reason I'm even nervous is cuz.. well, I've known Dave for years and I'm just now getting to meet him in person, and well

i feel like anyone would be nervous in that situation..

Dave's P.O.V

you are currently, awkwardly sitting in a HUGE airport, waiting for your online best friend, John Egbert.. and your just tapping your foot on the ground really fast, like an idiot

but no you just happen to have gotten to baggage claim 30 minutes before Mr. Egbert said they were gonna land, so yeah

you're just gonna stay here until the dork finds you cuz, he didn't give a description of himself and his dad

so I guess i'll wait for Dirk to start blushing, hehehe, since he and Jake have Skype'd, they'll probably run to each other like one of the cliche romantic comedys' Egderp likes... hmm maybe we could watch one of those together..
