Chapter-Nineteen
Madeline's POV:
After he stormed out of the house with the scowl etched on his face, I felt like crying at my bad fate.
My eyes caught the sight of rumpled bed sheets and the remainder of what we did last night on that very bed made my face heat up. I couldn't believe that we slept together.
Can we blame alcohol for what happened last night?
Unfortunately, we couldn't blame everything on alcohol. I was a bit drunk. But if I wanted him to stop I could have stopped him.
He wasn't that drunk either. If he wanted to stop he would've stopped himself.
But we both wanted it and we both did it.
When I tried to look pretty for him I didn't plan to sleep with him. I just wanted him to look at me like a girl instead of his best friend.
He was so passionate all night. He didn't let me breathe properly before claiming my mouth again and again. He told me he couldn't get enough of me.
He showed me a wild side of him that I never knew exists in him.
Last night, I could feel his lips everywhere on my body, burning my soul with the need that only he knew how to satisfy.
I lived in a different world last night with him. I didn't regret anything that happened between him and me. I would probably cherish that beautiful night my whole life.
I felt the small satisfaction knowing that Laura's wasn't able to ruin his first time with her dirty body. I felt glad that he was my first and I his first.
But it hurt me to think that I wouldn't be his last. He would always run back to Laura.
I would've told him what a cunning lying cheating bitch his girlfriend was. But that airheaded boy interrupted me by giving me that mind-blowing and my mind-numbing kiss.
He had the audacity to ruin the mood by giving me that haughty explanation and blaming me to seduce him.
I was mumbling and pacing in my room when my phone started to ringing.
I took the side glance at the screen and cringed."Hello?" I said.
"Madeline, where are you?" My aunt asked sounding angry.
"I'm at home. I was sleeping," I replied cringing at the word "sleeping".
"We're coming back so you better stay in a home." She ordered me.
The line went dead and I threw the phone on the bed.
I pulled my hair in exasperation.
My phone beeped again and I picked it up again to see a message from my overly elated friend.
Milly: I want to meet you. I have great news to share with you. I'm so happy!
Me: Okay. Let's meet at the "Café" in an hour?
Milly: Oh, God. I'm so excited!!
Me: I have concluded that. See you later.
I glanced back at the messy bed and groaned.
"I'm so tired. Now, who's going to clean it?" I asked myself.
"You miss-always-tired." My mind retorted.
I glared at my mind comebacks.
Hurriedly, I changed my bed sheets and cleaned the mess around the room. Then my eyes caught the half-empty wine bottle sitting on the small table in the center. I knew if my aunt will find out that we drank from her wine bottle she would chop my head off.
