Arthit sat on the bed, waiting for Kongpob. His husband was turning off the lamp and making sure the door and window have been all locked. Arthit could hear Kongpob walking around the living room.
The surprise party today was great, thanks to the crazy squad he had and Kongpob's caring buddies.
"What are you thinking, P'Arthit?" Kongpob got on the bed, leaned back on the headboard.
Arthit straightened his back and moved his body so he could see Kongpob clearly. "What did my dad tell you?"
"He said he wanted the souve—"
"No, not that part."
Kongpob looked at him in confusion. He furrowed his brow, thinking. Not too long after that, his eyes widened and his mouth opened slightly. He seemed like already got an idea about what Arthit wanted him to say.
"Ohooooo are you talking about the fact that you cried to your parents when you were confessing your feeling for me in front of them?"
OMG HIS DAD REALLY TOLD KONGPOB EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT MOMENT! Arthit's body melted, he fell on the bed. "I wanna die now..."
Kongpob laughed, "Not today, P'Arthit... Let's wait until we are much older than this."
Kongpob laid on the bed, followed his husband who was curling up, hiding his rosy cheeks. Arthit loosened his body and let the younger man came closer to him, cuddling.
"I thought my Dad would be hard to convince that time." He said while playing with Kongpob's fingers.
Kongpob smiled. "Still, you came out to him. You are the bravest." He pecked Arthit's lips and kiss his collarbone slightly.
"Thank you for waiting me gaining some confidence to do that." Arthit's hand caressed the younger man's hair gently.
Kongpob was always there. He waited no matter how long it would take. He asked, but there was no complaint.
"I always knew that your parents were not that bad." Kongpob said. "The way your dad looked at you, even though he didn't say anything, was full of fondness. Unfortunately, you never looked at him right in his eyes."
Arthit startled. He pushed Kongpob's body away from him. He pulled back his own, moving from laying position. He got up. Kongpob pointed out the most important thing.
That's right. Arthit had couldn't look at his father directly. He unconsciously felt like he did something wrong. He didn't regret to be an engineer, tho. However, not following his dad's words was another problem.
"Now, you know he loves you." Kongpob said while getting up to hug Arthit from the back. "Let's visit them as soon as we have a day off."
"Next week..."
"Next week? Fine. We'll do that." Kongpob agreed. "Relax." Kongpob whispered to Arthit's ear. "Lay down." Kongpob guided him to lean back on the bed. "Have a nice dream."
He kissed Arthit's forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, and finally lips. After that, Kongpob laid beside the older man.
Arthit chuckled, "The nose... when you kissed it, it tickled."
"Really?"
"Hmm.", Arthit nodded.
He looked at his husband's face attentively. The man who loved him the most, and even though Arthit had not been sure yet if he had love as much as Kongpob's love for him, Arthit loved Kongpob the most.
Arthit slided his body closer to Kongpob and wrapped the warm body tightly. "I will hug you until I fall asleep."
"Okay."
