"Mike, wanna go on a quick errand with me?" I asked through the door. Mike got up and opened his door.

"Like?" He questioned. "I need to buy some more bud and stuff and I was wondering if you'd want to go, I could probably get it cheap for you since you're my brother." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah, sure. Let me grab my sweatshirt quick." Mike and I trotted downstairs and headed out.

"What the hell, it's so hot out." Mike complained.

"Well, you do live in California." I added. He rolled his eyes and got into the car. He complained how I shouldn't have leather seats because they got hot in the summer, then he complained about the seat belt being hot.

"Mike if you complain about something one more time I'm crashing this car." He stopped talking and looked at me.

"Bet." He replied.

"Say I won't."

"You won't." I smirked and slammed on the breaks and Mike flung forward and cars behind me honked.

"Vic, what the hell?" He yelled at me. I was laughing so hard I swear I was about to actually crash the car.

"Oh my god, you should've seen your face! That's hilarious." He mocked me saying "that's hilarious" and flipped me off. I continued to laugh as we pulled up to Alex's house. We got out of the car and went up to his door. I knocked and heard a "come in" yelled from inside. I opened the door and stepped inside. But, with my luck the guy from the other night was here. Jaime. I tried my best to act like I didn't know he was there.

"Hey Alex, this is my brother Mike, Mike this is Alex." They exchanged their hellos and we sat down. I could feel Jaime staring at my from across the room. I awkwardly cleared my throat and broke the silence.

"So I uh, was wondering if I could get 4gs for myself, and just a bag for Mike."

"Yeah yeah, it'll be $60 for you, and since Mike is a first timer here I'll only charge you $25." Alex said. We gave him the money and left. As I walked out the door I glanced over my shoulder to see Jaime eyeing me with a smirk on his face, and I shut the door behind me. I took a deep breath and got into my car.

"What was that about?" Mike asked.

"What?" I asked like I didn't know what he was talking about.

"Don't play dumb, that dude across the room was looking at you like you're the finest piece of ass he's ever seen, I saw him staring at you the whole time. Plus you look like you have to shit or something."

I sighed. "It's a uh, long story."

"I've got time." Mike pressed. I shook my head. "Yeah, no."

"Oh come on, I need some drama in my life everything is boring." He whined.

"Mike, shut up."

"I'm not gonna stop till you tell me."

I put the car in drive and shrugged my shoulders. "Guess you won't." For the next 5 minutes Mike repeated the words "tell me" non stop and to tell you the truth I was getting sick of it.

"For the love of God Mike, Shut the fuck up."

"Why won't you tell me."

"Because I don't fucking have to that's why." I snapped. I put my hand on my forehead and leaned against the car door. We arrived home and pulled up to our house. We both got out of the car and went inside. I went into the kitchen and opened the fridge.

"Would it kill mom and dad to go shopping for once?" I said.

"That's a joke." Mike snorted. I sighed and shut the fridge.
