Sunlight seeping through my eyelids as i slowly opened my eyes with the sound of my phone alarm going off. I groaned and rolled around and turned it off. I really don't want to go to school, at this point is my education really worth it? Probably, but I couldn't care less. I closed my eyes again and laid in my bed for 20 more minutes before my phone started ringing. "oh my god" I said to myself. I squinted my eyes so I could see the screen and saw that it was Kellin.

"Hello?" I said groggily.

"Hey, where have you been? It's Friday and you haven't been at school all week and hardly talked at all."

"Oh, yeah, I've been uh, in my bed."

"Vic," Kellin whined. "Stop letting your feelings take over you."

"That's too much work. I'd rather stay here."

"Have you been taking your meds?"

"Yes."

"Are you lying to me?"

"...Yes."

"You need to take them. You're not gonna feel better if you don't take them." I just groaned in response and we sat in silence for a few moments.

"You sound cute when you're tired." Kellin said. I smiled and laughed.

"Can I come over?" He asked. I told him he could and he hung up. I grabbed my comforter and brought it back up to my chin and wrapped myself in it. I closed my eyes and drifted back into sleep.

I woke up with a body landing on top of mine and a high voice saying "Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey."

"Get off." I groaned tiredly. Kellin pulled down my covers and moved my hair out of my face.

"You're getting out of bed and coming with me you bum."

"Mmm, no." I said. Kellin rolled me over and sat on top of me.

"You're coming."

"I am not."

"Yes."

"Nope." I popped the 'P' on the word.

"Please, I have a surprise set up for you and you'll like it but you have to get out of bed and come with me." I sighed and rubbed my eyes. "I guess." I mumbled. He smiled in victory. I pushed him off of me and stood up and stretched.

"Ohhh, look at you muscles." Kellin said in a girly voice.

"Right." I laughed.

"No, but for real, have you like worked out at all lately?"

"No I haven't." He stood up and hugged me.

"Why is your skin so cold?" He whined.

"I'm a vampire." I said sarcastically.

"Funny," he said. "I've missed you."

"I missed you too, Kell." He smiled at me and ordered me to change out of my outfit of only shorts, to something nicer. I grabbed a pair of jeans and a short sleeve navy blue shirt that says "Deathwish" across it. "Is this good enough for you, your majesty?" I said in a funny tone.

"Perfect. Now, lets go." I grabbed my wallet and followed him out the door and into his car.

"Can we listen to emo music?" Kellin asked with a smile. "Sure." I laughed. He always thinks that just because I listen to rap music more than rock that I'll die if I hear it.

Him and I drove down to the beach and parked next to a line of shops. We got up and he walked me over to some of my favorite shops. I pulled out my wallet and started counting how much money I had with me because I knew I would spend something. Kellin put his hand on top of it and pushed it down.
