I jerked awake and gazed around the room. The very familiar room... I heard thumping on the floor above me. It's been a while, but I remembered how I looked like... And it wasn't like this... I still had my human figure, only I had h/c(hair color) inked hair. It didn't leave marks when it dripped, but it still seemed strange. Why is my hair... Inky?
Another thud alarmed me and made me jump in shock. The room around me was rotten and slightly covered in ink. It was strange to me that this was so familiar. I had expected it to already be gone by the time I was reborn... But I thought it would be as a human. I had no idea what I am.
I leaned against the wall, trying to organize my scrambled and panicked thoughts, when suddenly the wall turned into black ink and sucked me into a dark room. I groaned and gazed around the new room, wondering where I was.
I saw images of the different rooms inside the old animation building. One image held a man who was standing by the ink machine. Though, it was live. I looked around some more and saw a figure that was standing by a window that was showing the hallway. It was holding a cardboard cut out of... O-of..... I... I couldn't remember....
It jumped through the window and placed the cardboard before jumping back in. I covered my mouth as a gasp almost escaped my lips. It was someone so familiar, but I couldn't remember anything. All I remembered was a burning pain against my skin, like it was being melted by lava.
It didn't notice me as it kept watching the man gasp and clutch his heart. The man also looked familiar, but I wasn't even sure why. I couldn't remember anything at the moment...
I just know that I died but suddenly came back to... this...

The figure stepped into another image and boarded up the doorway to the 'Ink Machine'. It was strange why there was a machine there, but I didn't question it. Everything seemed quiet. I watched as the man ran from the familiar figure and to the exit, only to fall into a hole to the lower level. The basement. He found the pentagon I'd awaken from and passed out for some strange reason. I saw blood trickle out from his mouth and gasped.
His lifeless body laid on the floor, making an image flash through my eyes. My lifeless body/ My lifeless human body. Feeling like I was hyperventilating, falling to the ground, I gasped for air. I scratched at my neck to breathe in air, but nothing went into my lungs. I felt my eyes fluttering as my sight had black spots. The image was showing my corpse, decaying as the years go by. It was turning to dust, as if I had eternally slept and somehow turned to ashes.
Before I had gone unconscious and collapsed from loss of air, I spotted a figure running towards me. It's hand was so familiar, but I couldn't remember....
But I wish I dd.

I breathed in a slow breath as my lungs filled up with air. I sighed out in relief as my eyes slowly flickered open. I was met with black, beady eyes. I felt like I knew these eyes from somewhere, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It stared into my soul as if it was trying to find something.
".... Who are you?" A voice asked, making me jump. I let my eyes adjust and my mind finally began to work. I stared at the... um.... Ink devil?
"U-um..... M-my name?" I asked back, glancing at the makeshift bedroom. It was a animation room that was rearranged into making a bed to fit two people. A candle glowed brightly beside me, illuminating the room in a soft glow.
The Inky demon grunted and glared at me. Those eyes weren't very friendly and familiar now, but they were menacing and threatening. "Yes, your name. Who are you and how did you get into the ink dimension?"
It seemed obvious, as I had inky h/c hair, but they decided they wanted to hear my words instead of their assumptions. ".... I-.... M-my name is... U-um...." I struggled to remember, biting my nails, but cringing as they instead turned to ink in my mouth rather than stay a solid nail.
"... Do you not remember?" It asked, standing up, seeming an inch or so shorter than me if I stood. I slowly nodded my head, wondering what we were.
"Who are you...?" I questioned, wondering if it had a name. It stared at me for a while before it turned away to the door and put it's hand on the knob.
".... Bendy." It mumbled before opening the door and leaving as it shut closed behind him. I stayed in the bed and stared down at my clothed lap. The name seemed to remind me of something, but it left just as fast as it came(You sinners get your head outta the gutter... this is a slow burn. He doesn't even trust you, even if he used to lo---- *snaps mouth shut and accidentally bites her tongue*)
I really hope I remember my past, because I feel like something bad would happen if I didn't....
I didn't have any guarantees that 'Bendy' wouldn't hurt me...
