"You didn't kiss her??" Shara had Quinn pinned to the wall again and he was looking more than a little harassed.
"Shara..."
"No! You look in her eyes and you stand there and you don't kiss her? What were you thinking? What's wrong with you?"
"Shara, that's not really any of your business."
"Not my business? Not my business? Everything having to do with my best friend is my business!"
"Yeah? Then how come you didn't know about me until you asked me yesterday?"
Shara made a face at him and let him go.
"Look, I admit, I messed up...again."
"What are you going to do about it...this time?"
Quinn sighed and shrugged.
"I can't force these things. It's got to be right."
"Right schmight. Get over it and kiss the girl already. It's about time she joined the ranks of the kissed."
"What?"
Realizing she probably overstepped bounds, she kept her mouth shut, albeit a little late.
"Shara, she's never been kissed before?"
Shara looked at the ceiling.
"Jeez. Talking about pressuring a guy. Now I really have to make sure it's right."
Shara came back to life.
"No, you just have to do it. You are the part that's right. The kiss will automatically be right. Take a page out of Disney's book of love and kiss the girl."
"I'll think about it. Right now, I'm late for psychology."

Once again, Liza sat in her desk in psychology, nervously tapping her pencil, wondering where Quinn was. Because, once again, he was late. This time, though, he rounded the corner just before the bell began to ring. Looking a little bothered, he rushed to the seat next to Liza, flashing her a quick smile. She was glad to see him, but wondered what had him so flustered.
His leg bounced all through the lecture and after the class bell rang, he turned to her and blurted out, "Can I come over today?" Relieved and a little confused, she answered, "Ok, when?" He thought for a moment and said, "Can I get off the bus with you?" Surprised, she said he could and he rushed out of the classroom. She got the distinct feeling Shara had something to do with his strange behavior. She decided after Quinn left today that she'd be having a long talk with her best friend.
That afternoon, Shara kept a lot of space between Liza and herself and allowed she and Quinn to have private time on the bus. Liza glared at Shara to let her know she was in trouble, but Shara only stared at the ceiling, working at looking innocent. On the ride to her house, Quinn was very quiet and serious. Liza didn't push him to talk, she was actually kind of afraid of what he might say if she did. He was just so intense!
Shara was dropped off at her house two stops before Liza so she didn't get a chance to make any last threats at her best friend before she got off. When the bus dropped Quinn and Liza off at her house, she stood at the door, fumbling with her keys a little nervously. She had a hard time finding the tiny keyhole with the slab of metal in her hands. Quinn put his hand on hers and gently took the keys from her. She stepped aside, smiling, a little embarrassed, as he fitted the key in easily and turned the lock.
