Branch woke up with a smile on his face. His blue vibrant hair was a huge frizzy mess as he looked in his rusty mirror. He brushed it with his hands, threw on his vest and mud shorts. He tried to remember what happened last night then it hit him: Poppy kissed him. Again.
He smiled wider, grabbed his brush and sang "find me somebody to love" while dancing around his skin a bright blue. He then heard a knock.
Branch stopped, placed the brush down and ran to the door. Opening it to see Creek who smiled, not evilly, just a not normal smile.
"Creek.... hey..." Branch said hesitantly.
"Branch. I heard about you and Poppy. Congrats." Creek said dryly. Branch was confused.
"Yeah.... we went on a date."
Creek laughed. "No, no. You proposed."
Branch froze. What. He, what!?! Branch was wide eyed then remembered. He and Poppy went to the candy bar, drank too mush sugar water, and then... he must've proposed. Branch rushed by Creek and ran to Poppy's pod and banged on the door.
"Poppy!!!" He basically screamed.
He was greeted by a pink frizzy haired troll that was rubbing her eyes.
"Ugh Branch... I feel like-"
"Talk. Now. Last night." He said interrupting her.
