Kyungsoo mourned about his unluckiness, as his hands were skillfully preparing the dinner for him and Luhan. His mom wouldn't be having her dinner at home, and he was not in the mood to make anything fancy, so he decided to just make a simple dish."Why can't he leave me alone Luhan," Kyungsoo complained. He grabbed a large saucepan, filled it water, and set to medium heat. "I mean why does he pick me...," he paused to take the ingredients needed,
"He has many admirers right? Why should he target me!"
Kyungsoo grumbled. The knife in his hand cut the vegetables furiously, creating loud thumping sound. Kyungsoo imagined he was chopping Kai instead of the poor innocent carrot, cucumber and radish. He put down the knife harshly. "He got no reason!" Kyungsoo snapped. Stirring the rice vigorously with a spatula, his other hand grilled mushrooms and shrimps covered in marinade sauce, which had been refrigerated for one and half hour before.
Luhan held his tongue. He stared at the cute squishy boy who was energetically having his way around the kitchen, wearing his pink ruffled apron with heart pattern stitched on it. The cute squishy boy's tiny hands were doing wonder; brewing, boiling, and grilling stuffs Luhan didn't really apprehend, except for the fact that those mumbo jumbo thingy would produce heavenly delicious dish.
Kyungsoo puffed up his chubby cheeks, his pink lips pouted disapprovingly.
"Wow... to talk about being dense. You're unbelievable," Luhan muttered under his breath. His mouth was busily munching the soft, and so damn chewy, Heaven goodness chocolate chip cookies Kyungsoo had baked earlier.
"What did you say Lu? I can't hear you," Kyungsoo asked his bestfriend as he placed a fried egg on each bowls.
"Nah. When will my food be ready? I'm hungry," Luhan replied nonchalantly, patting his flat stomach.
Kyungsoo got distracted by the poor soul waiting to be fed. He clasped his hands together in excitement, chattering of how he made his own gochujang paste to acquire Kyungsoo's special bibimbab taste.

Luhan literally finished off all the food; no leftover remained on every plate. Nothing left. Nada. Kyungsoo swore there was a food monster buried inside his friend's slim borderline boney body. He wondered where all the food went. Well, it makes all the washing dishes work easier, the boy thought.
"What will you do tomorrow baby Soo, we got no class, right?" Luhan asked in mouthful, chewing the last piece of his chocolate cookie.
"Mmm, I don't know, I guess I'll just stay at home and enjoy my holiday doing nothing." Kyungsoo chuckled as he realized how lazy it sounded.
Luhan swallowed and gulp down a glass of cool water. "Why don't you join me and Sehunie? We plan to go to the game store at Coex, and after that we will have our bubble tea date and maybe ramyeon or ddeokbokki as well."
Kyungsoo flinched at the thought. Being a third wheel in class and outside the class. Maybe later.
"Nah, I'm gonna enjoy my day to the fullest, don't worry Lu. Thanks for the offer, though," Kyungsoo responded back fast, not giving Luhan any chance to drag him to his bubble tea date. Kyungsoo smiled reassuringly to convince his best friend, forming a heart shaped lips, and as usual Luhan squealed like a high school girl. And then all the cooes and tortures happened.

One lazy class free day. A day without a certain pervert lurking around. The day when suddenly everything looked so magnificent, shimmering, and shiny. A day without Kai. No Kai day. Kai free day.
