*************************Ava's Point of View************************
I looked up and saw Noah, Max and Emma outside my room. A big smile came across my face, I was so glad to see them. It was quite odd waking up at the hospital being surrounded by a bunch of people I didn't know. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful for everything they did for me but when you wake up not knowing anyone around you its pretty odd.
"Hey, I'm so glad to see you guys!" I said in a cheerful tone.
"I think we are more glad to see you, you scared the hell out of us!" Emma said with an expression of worry across her face.
I smiled back at her with a nod to show I understood where she was coming from. I directed my gaze over to know who was looking at me with fear in his eyes. He hadn't said anything since he had walked in and has been staring at the floor.
"I'm ok, don't worry. I'm just clumsy and distracted thats all" I said with a reassuring smile on my face.
"We know, it was just scary finding you laying there like that" Emma replied
"Well we can put it behind us now, I have had a full check up and everything is ok. The nurse is organising my discharge right now and then we can head back to the beach house" I said with excitement. I couldn't wait to get back and get over this bit of drama in our holiday.
I couldn't tell if Noah wouldn't look at me because he was worried about what happened or if he wouldn't look at me because i had just kissed him a couple of hours ago before running away like a little girl. I hope that we can decide on being just friends or decide to be something more but being in between both is really hard.
Noah raised his glance to Max as if he was trying to communicate without actually talking.
"Em and I are going to go and see the nurse about getting you discharged and go and pick up some food we will be back soon." Max said as he grabbed Emma's arm and pulled her out of the room.
"I was really worried about you, I thought I might lose you for a second" Max said looking up at me.
I patted a spot on the bed signalling for him to come and sit down.
"I'm sorry, I just wasn't watching what I was doing" I said with a little grin.
"Sounds about right for you" Noah said with a chuckle.
We sat in silence for a moment neither of us knowing whether or not to bring up when I kissed him on the beach earlier. I figured I had better bring it up so that its not awkward between us, we had stopped talking for long enough recently I didn't want to risk it happening again.
"Noah, about earlier on the beach, I'm really sorry. I got caught up in the moment and it sort of just happened and I know that we are friends, well best friends and i hope i haven't ruined us being friends again." I started rambling to him.
"hey slow down, its ok. Nothing could ruin us being friends plus it was a good kiss nothing to be embarrassed about" He said back with a cheeky grin.
I couldn't believe he has said that but he was right us being friends can't be ruined because we care to much about eachother other . I laid back into the bed with a huge smile across my face. He didn't hate the kiss so clearly there is a chance between us. Maybe things between us could work out after all. I just hope that when we go back home he still feels the same way.
