Never Got To Say Goodbye

Chapter 10

2:30 am
I was in the bathroom over top of the toilette trying to be as quiet as possible with out waking up Mikey.
"babe?" I heard him call from the room.
To late for being quiet.
He walked into the bathroom and ran over to me.
"Babe?! Are you ok?! Why didn't you call me?!"
"I'm fine. I just didn't want to wake you."
"Babe...I don't care if you would have woken me I would still have come. I lov-"
His sentence was cut short after I turned really quickly to throw up again. He held my hair and kept it out of my face.

When I was done he sat down on his knees.
"Sorry continue." I said embarrassed a little bit. I got up and brushed my teeth.
He sat on the black bathroom floor mat with his elbows on his knees and his knees to his chest.

"I love you."
I smiled and started at myself through the mirror then frowned. I turned to the side as lifted up my shirt to show my stomach.

"When does it start getting bigger?"

"I don't know. Why you ask you gonna leave me when it does?"

He glared at me. "No I'm not going to leave you."
"You say that now but-"
My sentence got stopped by his lips touching mine.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
He looked down but wears still against me as I was against the sink. Then he got down on his knees and kissed my stomach.
"And I love you too my jelly bean." He said and kissed my stomach.
A tear or two slipped from my eyes for how happy I was. I knew if I never forgave Mikey and he never got me out of that house I probably wouldn't be here right now.
*phone rings*
"Hello?" I answer
"Hi, this is McKinley High school. We will not be having school the rest of this week due to an issue with the pipes. Thank you."
*Phone call ends*

"No school."
"Yay! for how long?"
"The rest of this week."
"Oh why?"
"Something with the pipes."
"Huh?Ok! Back to bed."
I chuckled a bit.
We jumped back into bed and Mikey put his head on my stomach after me tossing and turning half an hour.
"Calm down." He lied me on my back and started rubbing my stomach.
I couldn't help but smile. I grabbed my phone and started to recording him, I wanted to remember this.

I then grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. Around an hour later we herd a knock at the door,
"Honey you guys up." She opens the door.

"Yea mom. There's no school for the rest of the week though."

"Oh I wonder why?"

"The pipes." I cut in.

"Oh ok. By the way I'm not gonna be home tonight so you guys got the house to yourselves."
She shut the door.

"Did you tell her yet?" I said worried

"No." Mikey looked back at the tv after kissing my stomach again.
" what do you want for breakfast?"

"Muffins?"

"Sure. Anything else?"

"Milk."

"Would you like some fries with that?"

"No." I said with a straight face. He got up and walked out the door downstairs.

I looked at my stomach and smiled.
"Looks like I'm gonna need your daddy around and help a lot more now."
A tear slipped out from my eye. I knew nothing was going to be the same.

"McKinley High is the first school to have pipe problems this year." The news started saying.

"I thought they were just kidding." Mikey stated.
