Chapter 10

Not seeing eye to eye

Your pov.
After our talk with.. Mr. Universe, we headed back to Stevens place. I nervously tugged my hair into a ponytail. "So. Whats your favorite food?" Steven asked looking up at me excitedly. I tapped my ching in thought before answering " (your favorite food) mmmm could really go for that right now" my mouth watered. He laughed. We got to know each other a bit better until we got to his home. "So I was thinking..  Since you're a crystal gem. You should join us on magical adventures and stuff!" Steven exclaimed excitedly. "Whoa Steven. I still have a lot to catch up with...  my 'mom' plus. You've had soo much training,  I don't have any. I'm as intimidating as a pink butterfly." Steven laughed. "Steven!" Someone called and entered his home. We turned and saw the girl he was with last time, 'Connie? Was it?'. She looked at me, her face a mix of confusion and unpleasant. "Uhm... What's she doing here?" She asked. I raised my eyebrow up 'She?' Steven beamed "Connie! You'll never believe it! Y/n's my sister!" She looked at him, still unpleased by the news. "What? Your sister?!" She asked. "Yeah! Isn't this great!? She's going to join us on magical adventures and stuff!" Steven went on. "Steven you don't even know her! How can you trust her so easily!?" She asked placing her hands on her hips. "Uhm. I'm right here." I coughed uncomfortably. "What's wrong Connie? She's trust worthy." Steven defended me. "Steven, you can't trust every person you meet!" She argued. "I'm just gonna go-" "Connie you're acting weird. This isn't like you-" "What if she works for Jasper?! Huh?! What if she works for one of the diamonds?!" My eye twitched a bit. 'What is her problem with me?' "Connie!" They got mad at each other, I felt like I was watch a couple fight. "She's our friend, why are you so against her?!" Steven asked in worry. "Because you trust her! When you've barely known her a day! I don't like her!" It hit me, all those people in school- no. I shook my head, I walked up to Steven and gently put my hand on his head. He looked up at me, worry, and guilt mixed in his eyes. "I've caused enough trouble for now. I should go. Tell the crystal gems I said hello. I'll come by tomorrow, bye Steven." I smiled. I looked at Connie and we shared a certain look, not a glare, just a look. "Goodbye Connie." I smiled and walked out of the place.

Jello! I am so sorry for keeping you guys waiting! I'm not doing so good in school. And unless you want me to come back and continue, I'm going to have to put this book on hold. I know it sucks. ;-; Sad author is sad. I will be back in 7 weeks? 8? Until I leave for summer break. Please understand. Thank you for the 11.4k reads! Views?! Idk!! Thank you seriously. A Suga x reader, and on Rapmonster (a non-romantic story) She didn't like them and stopped, but I really liked them and want to continue it, since I know more or less the path she went through. I won't be changing the Chapters she did make(other than some grammar and spelling mistakes), i will just contiue from where she left off. They are called "Not Everyone Gets A Happy Ending."
