After Nikolina's parents death, she moved to Mystic Falls where her darkest secret surface

Nikolina was a beautiful girl with long dark brown hair and gorgeous brown eyes
She was small but yet fit for her age
She liked to be called Nikki because she felt her name was too long
Nikki walked into the living room to see her worst nightmare
as she saw the horrible scene, she fell to her knees
in front of her laid her parents in a puddle of blood soaking into the rug
"M-mama no, no, no, this can't be happening"

tears were falling from Nikolina's eyes as she told the officer what she saw

"Nikki!"
her aunt exclaimed as she saw Nikolina enter her house
she embraced her tightly and wouldn't let go
"Aunt ava?"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"I can't breathe"
"I'm so sorry honey"
She said letting go of her niece
"let me show you to your room"
She said grabbing the girls baggage's
They walked across the house and walked up a flight of stairs
"That's my room, that's the bathroom and here we are"
She said entering the last door on the right
"I know it's not perfect but it'll do, right?"
"It's great aunt Ava, thank you"
Nikolina looked around the room
She had a queen size bed with two side tables with a bunch of small trinkets on them
She had two big windows that had a beautiful sight of a lake in the back
She also had a walk in closet which was her favorite thing
"So make yourself at home and I already enrolled you to Mystic High, where your parents met, they'd be happy that you'd go there. You'll just need to pick up your schedule and you'll be set for the semester"
The girl turned around and gave her aunt a faint smile
"Thank you, Aunt Ava"
