I woke up the next morning feeling good, no nightmares and I had a great time last night

I jumped out of bed and got ready for the day

I walked downstairs and opened the front door walking out when I felt something under my foot

I looked on the ground and on the porch was a ring, Jeremy's ring

He must've dropped it when he walked me home

I knocked twice on the door before a girl with straight brown hair opened the door

I was surprised, it was Elena

"Elena, you live here?"

"Yes, who are you?"

"I'm Nikolina, we met at the Lockwood's residence"

I said confused that the girl didn't remember me

Her eyes widened as if she remembered something

"Oh, of course, we met"

"Yes"

I said with a nervous laugh

"So what are you doing here?"

"I thought Jeremy Gilbert lived here but they must've given me the wrong address"

"Jeremy is my brother, you know him?"

"Yes I met him at school, he dropped this"

I showed Elena the ring and her eyes widened again

"I'll go get him"

"Okay!"

I waited a bit before seeing Jeremy walk towards the front door

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

He asked with a smile on his face

"You forgot this"

I said giving him his ring back

"Oh my god, thank you I don't know what I would've done without it"

"No problem"

"How did you know where I lived?"

"Small town, I asked the first person I saw"

"You want something to drink or to eat?"

He asked still on his porch

"Some water would be great"

He started to walk into his house, stopped and looked at me weirdly.

I then saw Elena doing the same thing
