A month later, Sylvie and Stella were walking around the firehouse and they came across River, mopping the floors in the bunk area. After entering, Stella was smiling. "Hey girl!" She said. River looked at them and smiled. "Hey!" She said happily and kept working. "We're thinking of having a single's night. Sort of. At Molly's tonight. Us three single ladies. Whattya say?" Sylvie asked. "That sounds great. Girls." She said and gave a nod. "Excellent! Want us to pick you up? Say...at eight?" Stella asked. "Sure! Sounds great. Thank you." She answered. "Right on! Well, we will leave you to keep cleaning and we look forward to seeing you all stylish and looking glam. We usually let our hair down and do our make up." Sylvie said. River stopped mopping and stared at them. "Okay." She said and continued. "Have you ever glammed up?" Stella asked. "No..." River responded. "Okay. Call your caretaker. And we are taking you back to my place and we are helping you out." Stella said. "Aaww, ladies...that's very nice of you but..." She said but Sylvie put her index out. The alarm sounded and Ambulance 61 was called for a collapsed person. "No more words! None! I won't hear it!" Sylvie said and hurried out.

"Hey, you heard the woman." Stella said and tilted her head and put her arms out gesturing she can't do anything then headed out. "You're doing a fantastic job by the way!" She added. "Thank you!" River said and watched her go out then continued mopping. Later on in the day, River walked out to where the trucks stay and went to the Squad table then sat in a chair and took her shoes off and put her feet up on the chair holding her arms around her shins. She stared at Severide. He was staring at her as well as the rest of Squad. He looked to them. "Guys." He said and gestured for them to leave. "Sure." Capp said and they stood and walked away. Kelly looked at her. "What's up?" He asked her. She lifted her lips from her knees and breathed in. "Stella and Sylvie invited me to go to Molly's with them as a single's night and they're gonna...make me glam?" She said confused. Kelly smiled. "Well that's good!" He said. "No. I'm scared. We're going to a bar all stylish. Losers come onto that or pretend they tripped and spilled their drink. Will you be my bodyguard?" She asked him. He laughed. "Molly's isn't like that. It's a classy bar. Where a guy might approach you and ask to sit with you and talk. Maybe take you back to his place. It's a more dignified bar. Old-fashioned. But, if you really want, I will still be your bodyguard." He said and smiled. "Thank you, Kelly." She said and put her feet down then started to put her shoes back on. "And you don't need to take your shoes off to put your feet up on the chair." He said. "It just shows respect." She told him and stood. "Thank you again. And I will see you tonight." She said and headed to the front door. He was watching her go then turned to see Capp was walking over and watching her. He kept watching Capp. "You wanna take a picture?" He asked. "Yes I do." Capp replied then sat down as she walked out. Kelly half-smiled and watched his guys return to the table.

While at Molly's, Hermann and Otis were bartending. Kelly sat at the bar and ordered a beer. Hermann gave him the beer he requested. He looked around at who was there. He saw Antonio Dawson with his co-workers and Detectives Halstead, Lindsey, Ruzek and Burgess all at one table for four. Detective Olinsky was sitting at the bar. He looked to his left and saw Doctors Halstead, Rhodes, Manning and Shore all at a table for four. And random Chicago citizens. He sighed. "Why so glum?" Hermann asked Severide as he swept the counter across from him. "Just lookin' for anyone who could possibly be a love interest with River." He admitted. "Oohhhhh. Trying to play matchmaker. Huh?" Hermann asked. "I guess. But it's not looking so well. I mean, literally everyone here is in a relationship or married. Except for Cruz, Otis, maybe Antonio and his co-worker over there. But they might be 'too classy' for her." He said and took a swig of his beer. "Hey. Let me tell you somethin' right now. No one, is 'too classy' for that girl. They're either just right, too dumb or too stuck up." He said and tossed his cloth over his shoulder then walked away. Kelly smiled. Stella, Sylvie and River all walked in. Kelly looked and saw them with their hair down and make up on. River looked beautiful. He was surprised. They went to a table and sat down then started to talk. He looked to Hermann. "Hey! Wanna see what they want?" He asked. Otis looked. "I'm on it!" Otis said. Hermann tripped Otis and watched him fall then stepped over him. "No you're not with your clumsy ass. Can't have you spillin' their drinks!" He said as he headed out from behind the bar. Otis popped back up. "What a..." He said and shook his head then huffed. "She's not interested." Severide told him. Otis rested his hands on his hips. "Sorry bud." He added. Otis swatted his hand out and walked away. Hermann returned back to behind the counter. "She ordered a beer! A beer! Severide! Tell me what kind of a girl risks her own life to save a firefighter and drinks beer?! That girl, needs to be married! Why hasn't anyone put a ring on that?! I'm furious!" Hermann said and got their drinks fixed up and set a Corona with a lime on a tray and headed back to the girls. Kelly looked back to Antonio and saw he spotted him then gave a non-chaulant wave. Antonio started to walk over. "That's not what I meant..." Kelly said and looked to the bar then took a drink. Antonio approached him and sat beside him on a stool. "What's up Lieutenant?" Antonio asked. "Nothing. I was just scouting around for a possible date for our new member. Then you saw me, so I waved. To be polite." Kelly answered. "Oh. New member? He or she?" Antonio asked. "She. She's at the table with Sylvie and Stella. Her name is River." He said. "River. That's a nice name. EMT? Firefighter?"
"Janitor."
"Janitor?!"
"Janitor."
"Well, we all gotta start somewhere. What else can you tell me?"
"She's always lived in a foster home. Doesn't know the city. She's been very sheltered her whole life."
"Oh. So she's a girl who needs experience. Well, I know a guy who's pretty good."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah! Peter Stone. He's there with Nagel. I could send him over."
"Yeah! Do it. Let's see how this goes."
"You got it."

Antonio left to Nagel and Stone and spoke to them. Peter looked then spoke to Antonio then started making his way to the table. Kelly pretended not to watch. Peter walked up to the table. "Hello ladies. I don't believe we've met." He said. "I'm Sylvie Brett. EMT at Firehouse 51." She introduced and shook his hand. "I'm a firefighter at Firehouse 51. My name's Stella." She said and shook his hand. "River Presley. I'm the Janitor." She said and shook his hand. "You clean at the firehouse." He said. "Yes." She said. "THAT is actually an incredible feat. That place is not small. How were you so willing to do that job?" He asked. "Well, they risked their lives to save mine. Thought I'd help them out. It's the least I could do." She replied. "Well that is very thoughtful of you." He said. She asked the girls if it would be alright if she left the table to join him and they didn't mind. She sat at a table with Peter and the two of them talked for an hour before he walked outside with her. "Do you need a ride home?" He asked her. She looked back as Severide walked out then smiled and looked at Peter. "I'll be okay. Thank you though." She responded. "I guess this is goodbye then. I'll...keep in touch." He said. "Same here." She said with a smile. "Lieutenant." Peter said and gave a nod. "Stone." He said and gave a nod then tucked his hands in his pockets. Peter walked away to his car. River turned to Kelly. "I wonder who could've sent that guy to your table..." He said to her, coyly. She gave him a push and he laughed. "It was a team effort!" He said. Antonio started walking over. "Hey hey hey. What is this? Am I gonna have to break it up?" He asked with a smile. "Nah, it seems our matchmaking job worked." Kelly told him. "That's fantastic! Hey, if Peter ever gives you any trouble just let me know. I know where he works." He said and pointed at her as he started to walk away. "I will! Thank you!" She said. "No problem!" He said back. "Ready to go home now?" Kelly asked her. "Yeah." She said. "Look at you! You're gonna be sleeping good tonight!" He said. She laughed.
