A/N: I do remember the bet but I wanted to get to the good stuff so to cut it short. Tord won because Tom drank Smirnoff just force of habit. There for letting Tord call him Jehovah for the next week. K lets get to the chapter shall we.

SUMMER
Tom's pov

"Can't we do this later during the summer?" I whined. "Come on Tom don't be such a baby." Tord laughed. "I'm not a baby I'm just- it's my first time." I complained. "And you'll soon get better but right now it's your first time so we'll let you start out at 5 feet." Edd smiled. "B-but 5 feet is up to my chin I could drown at any second." I whined. "But we'll hold you." Tord said hugging me. "You'll be fine." He added. "Come on lets teach a grown man how to swim." Matt exclaimed running towards the stairs. We all rolled out eyes and followed Matt to the stairs. "This time we go up, pool's up on the roof." Edd said pointing up. We walked up the stairs and saw the pool sitting with the water still and everything. I almost didn't want to touch it was so perfect. No ripples no water on the outside just perfect. "CANNON BALL!!!!" Matt screamed jumping in. Now Matt ruined the perfectness. Edd and Tord walked over to the pool and got in slowly. I walked over and stood there. Tord looked up. "You look like a girl who is playing dodgeball and is afraid to get hurt." He snickered. I looked down. "Shut up Tord." I smiled. I slowly climbed in and was standing at the 3 feet mark. "Tom come on, swim to the deep end." Edd waved. I slowly swam over but didn't really make it past 4 feet. "Can't we start here?" I asked. "No that's too easy." Matt said. "Fine." I sighed. I climbed along the wall and held on to the edge of the pool as I moved an inch. "Okay that's it." Tord swam over and took my hand. He held on to it firmly and swam me to the 5 feet mark. "Okay Tom, I'm going to let go-" "No please." I begged. "Tom be brave come on." Matt said. "....... Fine." I sighed. Tord let go of my hand and I started to sink. "How do I stop?" I asked. Tord grabbed my hand again and pulled me up. "Don't freak out keep your arms out and you legs moving." Tord said slowly and calmly. "Tom look, blue sky's in." He breathed in. "Gray sky's out." He breathed out. I sighed and closed my eyes. "Blue sky's in." I breathed in. "Gray sky's out." I breathed out. Tord let go and I spread my arms out and began to move my legs. I stayed up and didn't sink this time. I opened my eyes. "I'm doing it." I smiled.

Tord's pov

Tom was learning how to swim in the deep end of the pool. His expression on his face was the same expression I had when I shot my first gun and hit the target exactly. Happy and wondering if I did it right or wrong. I smiled. "Good Job Jehovah." I nudged him. He smiled. "Thanks Commie." He flicked my nose. I laughed as I rubbed my nose. Matt turned to Edd and smiled. Edd smiled back and hugged Matt. Matt looked shocked but returned the hug. "Is somebody in love?" Tom asked. Matt looked at Edd and blushed. "N-no I'm just a nice person who returns hugs." Matt said. Edd looked at Matt. He laughed nervously as he blushed too. Me and Tom exchanged looks and smiled. "Yeah sure." Tom said sarcastically. Matt blush grew more red. "The only person I love is myself, well I mean that's what the fandom says but I can love other people, it's just right now I-I don't." He said looking down. Me and Tom rolled our eyes and we stayed at the pool a bit longer till it was lunch time. I was so proud of Tom.
