The great spirit walks within me. I am unafraid. For the spirits of my people walk beside me, and I have walked hand in heart with bear and eagle. It is never blades or bullets that scare me, it is failure. And I know I will not fail. I cross the trails of many ghost left to wander this earth wailing their loss, still wearing their ill fitting skin, but I am unafraid. I will not die from the tragedy I see before me, or the venom of yesterday's teeth! I have grown thick hides and wear the memories like the armadillo wears his plates. I fly faster than the birds and swim farther than the salmon... I am left with only one choice in this life. I can die... or I can be brave...
