"Laurence! Laurence! Oh here you are I've been looking for you," I said as I found him on the couch in the basement. We had turned it into more of an extra living space after Travis moved out. "Oh yeah I've just been down here...." "I know I've asked this question a lot but is something on your mind?" "Yeah actually..." "what is it? You can tell me." "Well I know we're best friends again but.... What about everything else?" "What.. Do you mean?" "I mean the other stuff, the 'more then best friends stuff'. Do we forget that ever happened? Do you want to just live life like we've always only been friends?" "Well from the way you're taking it sounds like that's the way you want it to be... So I'll agree with you...." "Oh um no that's not really what I meant it to sound like." "Then what did you mean it to sound like?" "I don't really know...." "Then why'd you bring it up!? "Because you asked what was on my mind!" "Are we really going to do this!" "Do what!" "Fight! Just the way we always did before you left. You're job was all you cared about that's why at first I didn't give a damn that you left! It was an unavoidable fate!" "What do you mean! We never fought!" "Oh yeah! I make one noise while you were doing something and you'd start yelling at me! I could barely talk to you Laurence! I lost what I thought of a best friend far before you left! Even now there's an awkward atmosphere around us! So maybe it is just best to forget we were a thing. At least that'll be an argument I can avoid." "I never knew you thought that way..." "Well now you do." "Is it to late to say sorry?" "A little especially when you put it in that tone." I was angry. I have a lot of bottled up anger. That's why I destroy doors so much. "So you just want to forget?" "Yep, lets just go back to being best friends. We can forget this ever happened." ".................... Fine."
I sighed as i turned on my heal. Part of me wanted him to tell me stop as I left the basement but he didn't. I walked all the way up the stairs. I needed to cool my head so I headed towards the door. I can trust him here alone at least. Wait.... Or can I? I don't think.... He's done it before! Last time....

Laurence's Pov
I had a frown as I stood up. I heard fast foot steps as the door broke down and Garroth jumped on to my back making me stumble a little.

"Yes but bad things happen when Laurence has a pocket knife!" "I'm not going to do anything just get off!" "No!" "Garroth I swear!" "Swear all you want sweet heart i'm not going anywhere!" "Did you just call me sweat heart?" "Yes I did sweat heart!" "C-could you just get off of me!" "No but I really want to kiss you." "What." "Nothing." "Everything." "Yes." He finally jumped off my back, as I spun around to face him. "What the hell was that!" "A lot of things!" "I think we just had a realization!" "Yeah you're cute when you stutter!" "What! Well your cute when you worry!" "I think we were both just really paranoid!" "Yeah! Why are we sort of yelling!" "I don't know!" "Well i take all of forms of being quiet! Stoping talking, whispering, making out." "What?" "Did I flipping stutter." "No." I responded. "Well then how are we going to shut up!" "I'll take number 3."
I took his hand as I brought his lips close to mine. What soft and flaky lips he had. I guess this is just the kind of conversations you have when you love your best friend. He ran his fingers through my hair as sweet silence filled the air. He licked my bottom lip as I granted him entrance. I love this dork he's great.
"Well, good to see Laurence is back." We stopped and looked in the door way to see Travis. "Oh um hi buddy?" "You know what I'm just going to leave you guys here as I cry myself to sleep...." "Did someone break the child's heart!" "A little..." "Bring me this monster!" "They didn't do it on purpose but I don't think they wanna get back together with me!" "Come here Travis tell your gay dads alllll about it." "Since when are you guys my parents?" "Since when have we not been your parents?"
~Many flashbacks of Garroth and Laurence getting Travis out of stupid situations later~
"Oh yeahhhhh, but I'm so angsty!" "There there our angsty child."
~Time skip to a few hours later~
"Hey Laurence, all honesty what do you thinks going on between Zane and Travis?" I asked eating toast while sitting on the counter. "I think Zanes just a little afraid. I've seen those two. Give it time Garroth." "Why didn't you tell Travis that?" "Garroth the entire time we were just eating Icecream and talking about sassy hair dressers and how angsty we all are." "Oh yeah that's right."
He put his hands on each side of the counter as he looked up at me. "I mean we're back together and that took a little bit of time." "Actually I never officially said we were together yet." "Well then, OH THY GARROTH WILL THY TAKE THY LAURENCE AS THY BOY FRIEND!" "INDEED!"
