Staring down at the ultimate assassin's bloody corpse, Kazuki was at a loss for words. It wasn't bad enough that he'd just lost Michio, he had to lose another close friend as well. But something really puzzled Kazuki... who could do this? Jikkō would definitely not die easily, and yet she had been brutally overpowered.

With a small sigh, Kazuki got to work, knowing that Jikkō would've encouraged him to investigate. He had already looked over the Monokuma File, so he knew that the death had happened within the last half hour.

Looking at the body, it was obvious that she had beed stabbed repeatedly. There was so much blood, but Kazuki couldn't see exactly where the wounds were. He knew what he had to do, so he just took in a deep breath and got it over with. He unzipped Jikkō's hoodie, pushing it out of the way before lifting her tank top that was under-not fully, just enough to see.

There were multiple stab wounds around her stomach, reaching all over her torso. It must have damaged some major organs, but not to kill her immediately. Kazuki winced as he realized she would've bled out. Jikkō had suffered.

Quickly, Kazuki put her clothes back in place. He heard footsteps behind him and looked to see Tomi walk over with a bloody knife in hand.

"I found the weapon. It was behind one of the machines." Tomi stated, a unusually blank expression on his face. "You seem pretty good at this... let's catch this killer together."

Kazuki nodded, standing up and facing Tomi. The white haired boy examined the knife, which just looked like a regular kitchen knife. "I know why they tried to hide this... this means the killer went to the kitchen."

"Yeah..." Kazuki agreed. "That makes things easier."

After finishing looking at the arcade, Kazuki and Tomi went to Jikkō's room. There didn't seem to be much else there, and Kazuki was growing worried. There was a serious lack of evidence, so hopefully new things would come up throughout the trial.

Monokuma's face appeared on the monitors. "Upupu, time for the class trial~!"
