Chapter 3: Confession

This was it. This was the day that Momo was going to do it.

The voice actress took a few deep breaths as she paced her room, making sure she looked okay for the hundredth time. Finally, she left her room, feeling almost so nervous she could puke. Come on Momo, you got this! It's just like an audition, you just have to walk in and do it!

Momo walked over to Kazuki's room, knocking twice on the door. It didn't take long for him to answer, and looking up at his attractive face, Momo's chest tightened.

"Oh, hey Momo." Kazuki greeted with a smile that made Momo's heart flutter. "What's up?"

"I um... actually wanted to talk to you about something..." Momo muttered, shuffling on her feet anxiously. "Can I come in...?"

"Of course." Kazuki said with a nod, opening the door wider, stepping aside to let Momo in. Once she was inside, he closed the door behind her. "So, what did you wanna talk about?"

Okay Momo, don't make this weird, don't say everything.

Momo took in a deep breath before speaking. "Kazuki... I, um... I've been kind of... developing feelings for you for a while now, a-and I thought it's about time I said something..."

"Wait... what kind of feelings?" Kazuki asked, and Momo wondered for a moment why she even wanted to be with him.

"I'm in love with you, Kazuki... those kind of feelings." Momo said with a light sigh.

It took Kazuki a moment to process that, but soon his eyes widened and his cheeks slowly turned pink. "Really...?"

"Yes, really! I've loved you for so long now, I-" Momo cut herself off, letting out a small nervous laugh. "A-anyways, I just... needed to tell you."

Kazuki was now a blushing mess, unable to form words for a few seconds. "Me...? W-why me? I-I'm no one special, I..." Kazuki shook his head, a smile on his face. "I kinda... have feelings for you too..."

"You do?" Momo smiled, feeling the happiest she'd ever been. She couldn't help but wrap her arms around Kazuki, and he hugged her back. "Oh Kazuki, you don't know how long I've dreamed of this..." Momo muttered.

Kazuki ran a hand through her pink hair, and Momo never wanted to let go of him. After a while, Kazuki pulled away, smiling down at her.

Momo couldn't help herself anymore. She grabbed onto his grey hoodie, pulling him down into a kiss. She had wished for this for so long and couldn't believe it was actually happening.
