Vacation Part one. (Hiccup's POV)

We flew to the edge this morning. Longer flight than usual. Zoè spotted a new island so we went to check it out. It was beautiful. Waterfall, sparkling blue lake, no rocks, eels, water dragons, deep enough to jump into from the back of your dragon from the sky or from the top of the water fall. Mountains, caves, jungles, it was beautiful. Oh and a beach.

"Nice find Z!" Heather said ruffling her hair.

She laughed.

"Anyone up for a swim?" I asked.

Everyone blinked.

"Is Hiccup Haddock giving us a break?" Tuffnut asked.

"Don't question! Just do!" Snoutlout said ripping off his top jumping in the lake.

Everyone laughed. I looked at Astrid who had double over holding her sides. 

"Ok girls, let's go change." She said leading them into the jungle.

The boys and I just took off our tops. Toothless came up behind me and laid down. I sat up next to his stomach and closed my eyes resting. I heard giggles and sat up. Snoutlout had stood up abruptly and grinned.

"Whoa, ho ho! We need to come here more often." He said.

I turned the girls were in their bindings. And their leggings. All of them had let their hair down. 

"Dang Heather, you look good! You to Astrid." He said.

Heather walked up to him and slapped the back of his head.

"You know I'm with Fishlegs." She said.

Astrid walked up to him and punched him in the gut and pushed him in the lake. Everyone laughed.

She came up to me and curled up next to me. She sighed contently.

"Mommy! Let's swim!" Zoè said happily grabbing her hand. 

Astrid laughed and jumped in with Zoè. Zoè surfaced​ without Astrid. I sat up and everyone stopped moving and stared at the spot where Astrid jumped.

"Astrid?!?" I asked standing.

Suddenly Zoè  squealed with laughter as she was thrown into the air. She was caught by Astrid how kissed her cheek. Everyone laughed and I sighed with relief. She looked at me and her face turned red. Everyone noticed and looked at me.

"Whoa! Gusse all that time in the forge paid off!" Snoutlout said.

"Huh?" 

"You went from fish bone to Viking body!" He said

I looked down. I had a barely visible six pack. That's it. 

"Look at you H! Slightly defined muscles, biceps and six pack! I'm jealous!" Tuff said.

I just shrugged.

"Hiccup? Are you coming in?" Astrid asked.

"No. Not right n-" I was cut off by Toothless pushing me in the lake.

I surfaced next to Astrid. Everyone was laughing.

"Toothless!" I complained.

He just laughed.

"Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile." I said.

He gave me a look. I rolled my eyes and turned around. Astrid kissed me out of nowhere. 

"And I take it back." I said.

Everyone laughed even Toothless. He laid down and took a nap. We all swam and did races. Astrid and I swam off to a deep end. We placed our backs agianst the bank.

"So. How did it feel to punch Snoutlout?" I asked.

"Amazing." 

"It looked amazing."

We laughed.

"Hey Ash?" 

"Yeah?" 

I was panicking in the inside. But I needed to tell her.

"Hiccup." 

"What?"

"Hiccup hel-" she started but she was pulled under.

"Astrid!!" I dove under.

Seaweed​ was wrapped tightly around her waist and anakels, she reached out to me as it dragged her down. Seaweed shot up and wrapped it's self around her hands. I swam down faster and grabbed her waist and pulled her into me with all of my might. The seaweed snapped and I brought us back up. I dragged us onto the shore. We were sputtering and coughing. 

I looked up. The gang was standing there in shock. Heather had her axe out. She rushed next to Astrid with Zoè and Stormfly and Snoutlout came over to me with Toothless.

"Are you ok?" She asked as Astrid tried to push herself up.

She shook her head no and yes. I sat up and pulled her into me. She was breathing hard but placed her head on my chest.

"What is it with you and drowning?" I asked quietly.

"Shut. Up. Hiccup." She said snuggling into me.

I laughed.
