Untouchable

Epilogue

My parents were at work and I had all of my stuff packed. I left the note on the counter.

He texted me telling me to come to his house and we'd pick up my stuff after.

When I got to his house I heard the sound an electric shaver.

"What are you doing loser you don't have facial hair" I called out.

"No I do not" He said

"Ew don't tell me you're shaving your pubes" I joked

"Nope" he said

I suddenly got really scared and I ran to the bathroom to see his head almost completely shaven.

"Kevin no!" I shouted

He laughed

"You idiot" I smacked his shoulder.

He flinched and laughed again.

"You think this is funny, egg head?" I asked

"Why are you so mad?" He taunted

"You're an idiot." I shoved him.

He grabbed me by my long hair and pulled my head up to meet his eyes.

"I needed something different." He said

I nodded and put my hand on his cheek.

"I love you" I smiled

"I love you too" He smiled back.

I was still a little salty about his hair but I was fine.

"Cabeza de huevo" I whispered

"What was that?" He asked

"Nothing" I said

"So you're ready?" He asked as he swept up his hair and threw it away.

I nodded my head

He took his bags to the car and I tried not to think about what I was leaving behind.

He came back to the bathroom and saw me standing there.

"What's wrong?" He asked

"Nothing" I smiled at him.

"Oh shit I almost forgot." he said, grabbing a bottle out of the cabinet.

It was his meds.

He put the toilet seat up and poured the pills into the toilet.

"Do me the honors?" He asked

"No. Those pills have made your life hell. You do the honors." I insisted

He nodded and flushed the toilet.

"Are you ready?" He asked as he squeezed my hand.

I looked up at him and flashed a smile.

"I am." I nodded

"I love you baby" He nudged me

"I love you too" I smiled

I think he could sense my hesitance because he kept staring at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked

He sighed, "You're not coming with me." He said

"Baby what are you talking about? Yes I am." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"No. You're not. You love it here. You love your family too much to just leave them." He shook his head

"No, Kev... I love you too" I said, grabbing his face and making him look into my eyes.
