Everyone stood still. I stood still, Ferimi stood still, Jyushi stood still, Yjaro stood still. In front of us was a sight we would not forget. Behind a sea of shattered glass laid Byari Shomui, the Ultimate Steampunk, blood gushed out of her stomach. Byari was dead. Simply dead. Harau stood in front of her looking mortified. We all looked mortified.

" ... B-B-Byari... W-Why did..." I heard a faint voice from the crowd. Jyushi. He turned to him and Jyushi immediately fell to his knees. " Why the h-hell did someone fall for that bullshit motive?! Why, why, WHY?!" Jyushi yelled and screamed. He buried his face into his hands.

" J-Jyushi, wait-" I kneeled down to him. I comforted him before. I said this wouldn't happen. And now look what happened. " I'm here. I'm right here." I didn't know what to say. It wasn't fine. It wasn't a lie. What else could I do? I'm a conductor, not a therapist.

" Kukukukuku! You all seem just soooo surprised, eh?" I heard a familiar voice from behind us. We turned to see Shokukuma standing with a proud grin, with Gurikuma lagging behind. " I guess the motive was a success! Ain't that fantastic?!" He cackled like a devilish child.

" What are you's l-laughing about, hon?!" Huumi had tears budded in his eyes. He angrily stormed over to Shokukuma. " This is not fantastic one bit!! You are a damned bitch for thinking so!!" I never expected Huumi to be the type to get angry.

" Hey, H-Huumi, it isn't the best idea to yell at Shokukuma... I know from experience." Gurikuma raised a paw. The shreds Gurikuma was covered in, I guess, were from Shokukuma.

" Ey, Guri's right! If you don't know when to keep your trap shut, I may end up cuttin' that trap out!" The brown bear flashed his claws straight up in Huumi's face. He backed off quickly. " Anyways, because one of you guys committed this foul scene, I've added an extra tab to your tablets! I'll leave you to investigate-" Shokukuma was quickly cut off.

" Wait, what do ya' mean by that Pooh Bear?! Investigation ain't our job!" Myaja's pigtails rose up as she shouted.

" Oh, whoops... I suppose we forgot to explain it." Gurikuma cleared his throat and stepped between our group. " Basically, if someone commits a murder, we will host a trial to figure out the killer! So, you must all work together to gather information about the murder and vote who the killer is! If you vote correctly, the killer is executed... But if you vote wrong, everyone but the killer is executed...!" These fucking bears keep making the situation worse and worse. But before I could even reject, both the kumas were gone. God damnit... Once again, they left us silent.

" ... If those bears weren't lying, I'd say we stop crying and get to work. " Yjaro walked behind me and Jyushi and gently pat our heads. " She's dead, we can't do anything but try and execute this killer." I wish I was as calm as Yjaro was. I wish I could just accept this.

" I agree with that dolt. No use crying over it." Dokari spoke flatly. I realized, she did not carry her axe with her that morning. I thought she took it everywhere. " Now, lets check that new tab, shall we?" Oh, right, that. I took out my tablet and Jyushi tapped the new tab for me. It was labeled, " Gurikuma File."

: LOADING...

: The victim was Byari Shomui, the Ultimate Steampunk. Location was in the first floor kitchen. The time of death was exactly 4:50 AM. The cause of death was extensive blood loss. Byari's external wounds were two large stabs in Byari's chest, a slit in her throat, and a large dent in her forehead.

: TRUTH BULLETS-

The Gurikuma file was basically a way to see evidence for the murder. That's actually pretty helpful. But what the hell were truth bullets? I suppose that's our evidence. As I looked up from the tablet, I felt a rush of determination. We could do this. We could figure out who killed Byari!

: INVESTIGATE!

The students began to split apart one after another to investigate. I suddenly was so aware of my surroundings. What I immediately noticed was the strong smell of chemicals... Kind of like that thing people used in motives to make people pass out? What was it, chloroform? Yeah, that. I followed my nose and it lead me to... A small red rag.

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Red Rag

I'm guessing the small beep from my tablet meant I found a clue. Off to a good start. But, the thing I was scared about was actually looking at the corpse. Do I really have to look at my lifeless friend...? I don't wanna gag. But, I suppose if it's for the sake of all of us... I forced myself to turn around and face the soulless body of Byari. God, it did not make me excited to do this. He knelt down to her body and shuddered. Why did it have to be her...? Why did it have to be done by our friends...? No. No, don't think about that, Arato. It happened. And you must deal with it. Something caught my eye in that moment. A small slip of paper. I snatched it out of Byari's pocket. It read:

" Jyushi,

Today, meet me in the cafe at 3:30. I need to discuss something important with you.

- Byari"

A note? From Byari to Jyushi? This could be pretty important to the case.

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Letter on Byari

Why is Jyushi so involved with this case? He couldn't have... No. No no no. We need more evidence. No assumtions. I glanced upward to look at Byari's forehead. Damn, that is a big dent. Seems like it isn't even a cut.

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Wound on the forehead

Jeez, I am on a roll. I slowly stood up. I suppose there is not much on her body. When I stepped back, I jerked my foot back feeling sharp pain. " Ow-! What the fuck? " I looked down at where I had stepped. A sharp of glass?! Now noticing it, there were glass shards scattered all over the kitchen floor. They all looked clean, though. No blood.

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Glass Shards

" Hey, Arato." I turned to see Dokari walking up to me with her usual blank face. " How's the investigating going?"

" ... It's going fine, I guess. I'm just really fuckin' nervous."

" I am as well. But so far, I have a suspect. I shall not bring them up yet though." I quickly remembered something as I looked up at Dokari.

" Dokari... Didn't Kokoma say you were the first one awake or something?"

" Hm? Oh, yes. I woke up at around 5:05 AM. Eiko can be my alibi, because she saw me." Eiko saw her at 5:05? I guess that's important too.

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Dokari's Account

" Did you see Jyushi there?" I added on.

" ... Actually, no. Jyushi was not in the auditorium. Not that I saw."

: TRUTH BULLET UPDATED- Dokari's Account

I did take a small note of Dokari's axe. She wasn't carrying it currently. " Hey, Dokari. Where's your axe? You seemed to carry it with you everywhere before the murder." I asked, a bit confused.

" It is simply in my room. It's a pain to carry around a lot so..." Dokari rolled his eyes. " I was carrying it this morning, but chose to put it away before everyone gathered in the auditorium." Really? That's oddly specific. But it doesn't really matter. We both parted ways, before I bumped into him without realizing it. Jyushi.

" Woah- Oh! Hey Arato." Jyushi had dries tears plastered to his cheeks. I guess he got over it himself, but... I just remembered something important.

" Jyushi, why were you in the cafe this morning?"

" Hm? Oh, I came there this morning. It was around... 5:05 AM when I went there. " Wait, what? Jyushi went to the cafe at 5:05? That clearly contradicts something I already know...

: TRUTH BULLET OBTAINED- Jyushi's Account

Everything right now is just colliding with each other... But I suppose when the trial come, it will be-

Bing bong bing.

" Ahem, excuse me everyone but... The class trial will be starting soon! Please stop what you are doing and make your way to the auditorium!"
