"Leave! Now!" said Mr. Bouvier. He looked directly at his only daughter, he could see the terror in her eyes. "But father, I can leave you here!" Marie said while tears were rolling down her cheeks. Seeing her father's legs stuck under one of the many bookshelves of her house, which was now on fire. "Go, leave me and live your life," he said. Marie nodded and ran to the entrance of her home, grabbed her hood, got onto her horse, and left Paris.
That memory still haunted her mind like a ghost in a haunted house. She closed her eyes, shake her head, and took a deep breath. It was late at night, the moon was reflected on her ocean eyes. The road she was taking was staring to come clear. She looked confused, "Where is this supposed to lead?" she quietly asked herself. Augustus, her horse, kept moving forward until she saw faint lights surrounded by a tall stone wall. She sighed in relief and directed Augustus towards the little village.
She kept looking at he gorgeous sky until a large black and white horse bumped into her. She rolled of Augustus and fell on her bum. Augustus rose into his two hooves and stared to freak out. "I'm so sorry!" a small and chubby man said as he was getting off of his horse, instantly helping Marie. "Its my fault, i wasn't present in the moment," she groaned, taking the man's hand. "Um, do you know a place where I can stay for the night?" asked Marie. The man grinned ear to ear as he clearly saw the mysterious woman's face when her hood fell off, she was beautiful.
"Are you okay sir?" asked Marie, as he saw the man staring directly at her face. "Oh, I'm so sorry and yes i do know where you could stay, so follow me," said the small man as he got back onto his horse. Marie quickly got also on top of her horse and followed the friendly man. "My name is LeFou and yours is..." he trailed off, waiting for the beautiful girl to answer. "Marie, Marie Bouvier," she said with a small smile.
"Well Marie, here we are," LeFou said after they got in front of a small house. "Just ask the woman at the desk for any room and he will hand you over a key and they will open the door of your room," the chubby man said. "Thanks, and where can i leave my horse?" she asked while she was getting off Augustus. "You can hand him over to me and in the morning look for me and i will hand him back to you and i could give you a tour around the village," said Le Fou. "Thank you so much, see you tomorrow," said Marie to LeFou as she handed him Augustus and went into the small hotel.
Le Fou walked joyfully towards a small stable and tied Augustus onto his own small room. He then quickly paced towards the tavern, where Gaston was in the corner of the room. "Gaston!" Le Fou exclaimed towards his friend. "What is it this time?" asked Gaston annoyed. LeFou sat in front of Gaston and said," I just met a beautiful girl, even more beautiful than Belle, I believe." Gaston straightened up on his seat and opened his ears and heard on what his companion had to say. "Her name is Marie Bouvier and I just met her right now," said LeFou.
"Well, I don't want to be around any woman because of the last time i fell in love, it almost got myself killed," Gaston muttered. "Well, I'm off to sleep, goodnight," said a yawning LeFou. Gaston didn't replied, he was just thinking about how this Bouvier girl looked like. He quickly shooked his head and continued drinking for the night.
