Marie wakes up in the morning with a small smile on her face. It took her a few minutes before she realized that she was still in the small village. She then remembered about Le Fou and that he was taking her out today for a tour around the village. She smiled at the thought; she was excited. She was a traveller herself—ever since she lost her father, she had been travelling with no permanent home to stay.

The woman got out of bed, as she grabs a new long dress from her large bag. The top of the dress was white, and her skirt was blue. This was one of her favorite dresses. After she got ready, she grabbed her keys and placed them inside her pocket.

She walked down the stairs of the small hotel, looking around. She then finds the same woman standing there behind the counter, and so she gave her a small wave.

"Bonjour! Good morning, mademoiselle." The woman greeted with a smile, as she waved back at Marie.

"Good day." Marie responded, smiling at her. After their small talk, the woman headed out of the hotel.

Once she got out of the hotel, she won't deny the fact that some villagers turned their heads as they stared at the new woman. Marie was startled—she didn't actually have this kind of attention before.

"A new girl?" "Goodness, she is beautiful!" "Indeed she is." "She's as gorgeous as Belle." And so the murmurs went on and on as she walked past them.

Marie couldn't lie, she was uncomfortable with the gaze and gossips about the villagers around her. And they mentioned a woman named Belle. Who is she? Oh well. The woman continued to walk around, in hopes to find LeFou again. She doesn't know who to ask—she wasn't friends with anyone here... well, except for Le Fou, that is.

She saw a bakery, and she smiled. She was already hungry since she hasn't eaten her breakfast yet. She walked inside, looking around.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle. What can I get for you?" Marie turned around as to where the voice came from, and there she saw a baker with a small smile on his face.

"Good morning, monsieur," She greeted. She looked down at the display of bread and rolls. "I'll buy two pieces of bread, please."

The baker nodded, he gave the bread to her, and she placed the two pieces of bread inside the bag sewn into her dress. He handed the bag to Marie, and she took it with a smile, handing him her payment.

"Thank you, have a good day." She told him, then she exits the bakery.

While walking, she bumped into a man who ran straight past her without even excusing himself. She stumbled backwards, clearly annoyed, but before she could fall to the ground—a hand quickly caught hers, pulling her back up to balance.Right infront of her was a tall, unbelievably handsome man who held his gun on his other hand. She blinked, feeling tongue-tied as she stared at him. Once the man let go of her hand, that's when she snapped back to reality.

"Watch where you're going always," the man told her in an unenthusiastic and annoyed way, as he stared back at the woman coldly. "People here can be... frisky, I guess."

"Oh, uh, th-thank you, I guess?" She muttered, not really knowing what to reply. The man just gave her a nod before walking away.

Huh, she thought as she watched him walk away, clutching his gun tightly on his other hand. He's rude. But he did save me from falling, though.

"Did you just see that?!" A perky voice was heard behind Marie. "Oh my god, did Gaston just save that girl?"

"I heard she's new," another voice was heard. It also sounded feminine. "Huh, I don't even think he knows that girl."

"He still saved her, though!" Another voice, still coming from a female. "It's a big deal! Ugh, whatever, I'm so jealous. She got to hold his hand! Let's go girls!"Marie turns her head around, but the three girls were already walking away from her. She sighed as she shook her head. She didn't really understand. And the man's name earlier was—
"Marie!"

She turned back and saw a short, chubby man running towards her. She grinned, realizing who it was.

"Hi LeFou!" She greeted once the man finally reached to her. "I was just looking for you. The tour, remember?"

"Oh yes, I wouldn't forget about that," LeFou chuckled, then he smiled. "I just did some work. Um, let's go?"

Marie nodded, smiling at him. LeFou nodded back, then both of them started walking. While walking around the village, he introduced her to almost everyone and showed her the shops and even the library—which she adored so much!

"Um, LeFou, can I ask you something?" Marie questioned, while the both of them walked past the fountain.

"Sure, mademoiselle, what is it?"

"I met a man. He uh—he actually saved me from falling since a person ran past me all over a sudden. Three girls were talking about him. I actually forgot his name. Uh, he was tall and—"

"Woah, hold up," LeFou interrupted, his eyes wide in disbelief as he stared at the woman in shock.

"You already met Gaston?"
