Logan Foster wants to kill himself. Fed up with his life and the torment from the kids at school Logan actually prepares to do it.
Iris Johnson is your typically high school student. She's constantly stressed by school and homework but still manages to make it through. She has two parents who love her and a general happy life. Taking a walk down to the old train tracks one day was something not new to her. However this walk was different. On this walk she witnessed Longan Foster, sitting on the edge of a building with a gun in his mouth.
From then on EVERYTHING changes.
Logan gives Iris three days to encourage him to change his mind. Iris doesn't think that this is enough time but determined to help him makes it work.
The two go on one adventure after another and things don't turn out as you would expect.
This is a story that I loved not only for reflecting so well on teenage struggles but that sometimes all a broken person needs, is a friend to help them pick up their broken pieces.
