Trek in the Mountains

Chapter 5

Hello this is Chapter 5 of my series! Hope you like it! :)

Chapter 5 

.....At first they were delighted, but then they heard a very disturbing cry deep in the woods. The time they heard it, they became cautious of what is going to happen next. 3:45 when they were now just a few miles longer from the village. But after just a few minutes, they found out that they were walking the same path over and over again,thus, walking in circles. That made them weary that they may had been played all the time by the beast. So they tried to look at their map again and see if they are walking on the right way.

After just another 5 minutes, they smelled something nauseating. They began to puke and vomit as they smell things that were so irritating, like corpses all around. Then one of them stepped on a flesh. Surprisingly, they saw seven bodies all around. Then one of them concluded that it may be the beast's den. They saw their friends' bodies and some of them were separated into pieces. They also saw the old man dead with his eyes open and one of his limb was missing. The other bodies were already decomposing. The trees near around the den were full of stains of blood. They also saw bones on the ground. They were very horrified at what they have seen.

They quickly ran to get out of the den before the beast will go back to it and capture them and kill them. But after they could do anything, They already sensed that there is something coming. They also heard the bushes rattling. That panicked them more and they see something ahead of them. They changed their direction and ran swiftly as they could to escape the beast. 4:00 am when they again saw the bloodshot eyes, full of terror at the branch of one of the pine trees. They beg the beast to let them go and continue to walk back to the village safely, but the beast didn't make anything. 

Instead, the beast leaped from the tree and then began to roar at his fullest and.......to be continued.
