Jimin watched his crew run over the deck and disappear beneath it. When Jimin told them they were joining another crew for a treasure hunt they were all in. They were all men who had nothing left behind, piracy was the only way for them to survive and there was nothing better than treasure in their life. "They're quite hardworking." Jimin didn't bother to look at Jungkook as the younger one stepped beside him. "Yeah, they are." "Was it you or are they just like that?" Jimin laughed. "I don't know. They were lazy in the beginning, I guess it's me." Jungkook nodded.

It wasn't that hard to notice Jungkook didn't show the usual bright and cheerful side since the moment Jimin's crew came. Jimin of course didn't notice that, he was mostly ignoring Jungkook because he knew some kind of weakness could slip from his mouth and he could be left alone on some island. Jungkook didn't even look at him as much as he did in the city. He knew Jimin's crew was suspicious of Jungkook, he was just that type of a guy you know nothing of but still you believe him. Plus the treasure hunt, it was probably bunch of baloney to them, maybe they were hoping there was some kind of treasure but their common sense was telling them to be wary of the captain Jeon.

"Where's the map?" Jimin asked, turning to look at him. Jungkook looked away to the distant horizon. "Safe." Jimin took a moment to try to understand that sentence in some kind of different way but there was only one way to understand it ; none of your business. Jimin turned fully to the taller man who didn't seem intimidated at all. "Hey, I'm not taking my crew anywhere just because you yell 'treasure'." Jungkook looked at him, his gaze far more serious, scarier and intimidating than Jimin's. He looked like an angel standing next to a devil ready to pounce on him. "The map is safe, captain Park." "You brat I'm not-" "-You're on my ship, captain Park. You will obey my orders."

Jimin's cheeks were flaring with anger as he watched Jungkook leave to his room. He could not believe he had fallen into that trap. His crew members were watching but as he glared at them they looked away. He had been fooled.

The door to the captain's cabin opened and Jimin walked inside. Jungkook was a fraud. "If you think I'll obey like some bloody puppy you're dead wrong!" Jimin yelled, his eyes quickly scanning the room for the younger pirate. "It's hard to take your words seriously when your appearance is of a puppy." He turned around to face Jungkook who was leaning against a pillar, a smirk on his face. "Turn the ship around if you think I joined to be a part of your crew. I came as your equal!" Jungkook walked over to him with the same smirk, his eyes not moving from Jimin's. "When you came with me captain Park you never asked about your accommodation or status." Jimin's jaw almost hit the floor but he straightened his posture and mustered his coldest glare. "Turn the ship around or else."

Jungkook chuckled, shaking his head in surprise. "I don't suppose you think you and your crew have any chances of leaving." Jimin raised an eyebrow while taking his sword out of its sheath. "I thought you weren't an imbecile." Jungkook shrugged, not making a slightest attempt at reaching out for his sword. "You're outnumbered, my crew is stronger, I am stronger. You stand no chance, captain Park."

Jimin gritted his teeth as he charged at the unarmed pirate. Jungkook avoided his sword swiftly, it felt like a game. Jimin's eyes widened when he grabbed his wrist and held it tightly that it hurt. "If you die now your crew is mine." He looked away, as if considering the thought. "You brat!" Jimin punched him and pulled his wrist from his hold. Jungkook managed to grab his sword and deflect Jimin's sword going for his neck. Was Jimin seriously attempting to kill him? Jungkook pushed him back and Jimin stumbled. He swung his feet over a table and sat on a chair. "There's no need in fighting me captain Park. The winner is clear here." Jimin scoffed. "Don't flatter yourself, you brat. Where is the map?" Jungkook sat in front of him, not letting his guard down. "You think I'll tell you about the map after you tried to kill me?" Jungkook felt a bit hurt at the thought of being murdered by the one he cared about. Jimin showed no emotion but disgust. "You expect of me to follow like a puppy?" "What's up with you and puppies, captain Jimin?" "I love puppies." "You're a pirate. I'll consider that a weakness." "Everything you consider weakness is my strength." In that case Jungkook wanted to be his biggest weakness. "I couldn't have told you the location of the map in front of our crews. No matter how much we trust them they're pirates."

"You're proving your point by keeping it a secret." "True." "And by tricking me into coming only to have me a slave." Something seemed to click inside Jungkook's mind at the thought of Jimin belonging to him and no one else. It felt good to think Jimin would never leave. Jungkook stood up and Jimin followed, their swords touching as Jungkook moved closer. "Do you know how slaves are treated, Jimin?" "Yes." "Do you still consider yourself one?" "Any kind of betrayal from you makes me feel like a slave, Jungkook."

Those words felt like swords already piercing Jungkook's heart. Jimin felt betrayed and if that didn't make Jungkook's chest clench he had no idea what did. He took a step back and sheathed his sword but Jimin remained steady. Jungkook swallowed a lump in his throat formed because of the feeling of guilt. He nodded, avoiding to look into Jimin's eyes. "I don't trust anyone. I'll tell you more when we reach Tortuga." "What's in Tortuga?" Jungkook walked over to the pillar and took two steps towards the window. Jimin watched as he crouched down and raised a plank from the floor. He pulled out a small black casket with beautiful ornaments on it. Jimin sheathed his sword but kept his hand on the hilt, ready for surprises. Jungkook placed the casket on the table and took a key around his neck which Jimin never noticed.

The casket opened and Jimin walked over to see what was Jungkook hiding in it. And surely there was a map, Jungkook placed it on the table for Jimin to see clearly, it wasn't that big, thirty centimetres in width and twenty in length. And it looked old but it smelled like salt, like the sea. "When I took the map from the previous owner he told me about a key to open the door in a cave." "Key? Door? In a cave?" "Yes. I don't think it's a real door. Since the key wouldn't actually fit." Jimin watched Jungkook walk over to a picture on the wall and take it off. "Are there any traps in your office?" Jimin rolled his eyes but Jungkook ignored him as he took out a small piece of cloth.

He walked over to Jimin and with a teasing bow held it up for him. "This is the key to unlock the chest with the other key." Jimin laughed while taking the key. "A key to unlock a key?" "Exactly. It might sound childish and stupid but I lost three men while taking that key." Jimin stared at it, just a simple iron key. But the more he stared at it the clearer the ornaments became; skulls. Jungkook stared at Jimin. He felt so warm and nice in the older pirate's presence, it felt so good to have him close. His cute and handsome face made him look so innocent and naive, Jungkook wanted to protect him, he wanted to hide Jimin in his pocket from everyone else. Jimin would belong only to Jungkook. Of course that wasn't possible so he had to find a different way to have him close.

Jungkook licked his lips at the thought of all the moments he could spend with his hyung. "What's in Tortuga?" Jimin repeated his question. Jungkook sighed. "Someone who can help us find the Dead Island."
