The rest of the day went well surprisingly. Now all there is left to do is report what we've found in this strange new land.
"Ready?" whispers Liz trying not to wake Hunter.
"Yeah," I whisper back in reply. We brace ourselves as we step through the portal to out land. We arrive back with a flash of light, I then realize that my gown and hair and even my wings are back. I smile at their shimmer.
"How goes the new land?" asks my father.
"It goes fine, we managed to make contact with the creatures of the forbidden land who dress in uniforms and go to a place called school where you make friends and take classes with what the creatures call teachers," I reply.
"We made tons of what they call friends and have roommates too," says Liz.
"What is a roommate?" asks my mother.
"A roommate is somebody who becomes your friend and shares a bedroom with separate beds with you, I don't think all of them have the same what they would call classes with you, but my roommate does," I reply.
"Not to mention your roommate is a boy.." mumbles Liz.
"Where you saying something Liz?" asks my father.
"Oh no sir, it was nothing," she replies. She turns to wink at me and we go back through to the forbidden land. I smile at Hunter's still sleeping face, he's so angelic when he's sleeping. Liz quietly exits to walk back to her room closing the door silently on the way. I glance down and I'm back in my pajamas with my hair down and my comb in place.
"Night Hunter," I whisper pulling the blanket over him since he's shivering. I tuck the blanket behind his neck and slip into mine. I close my eyes and retreat to the dream world.
