This better be good, I was always afraid of what my father thinks and says since he can sometimes be sort of intimidating.
Normally, we discuss everything while having breakfast or dinner. But this morning, I decided to skip breakfast to play with my dog and relax.
I feel like I have completed everything in my life. I just require a job now, but my mother is still insisting on marrying me off. Since she got married at the age of 17, she thinks I'm too old at 24 to still be unmarried. I graduated in the field of accounting this year, and I want to pursue a career as soon as possible.
“Yes, Papa, you needed me?”
''Annabella, why is your dress so dirty? Where were you so early on a Sunday morning?''
“Papa I was only feeding the ducks and playing with Rexy and her puppies.”
'' Tesoro when are you going to grow up? You've reached 24. Your mother already had you at this age you should be thinking of getting married not playing!"
Here we go again with the marriage topic. They are still living in the past, they don't understand that time has changed now.

“Alright, you remember my long-time back friend Gusto, right? He invited us for his 30th wedding anniversary this weekend and he requested me to bring you also."
“But Papa, there will only be old couples and people of your age, I will be bored alone.”
