I woke up. By that I mean I was already awake and just staring into space in my bed. I sighed. I couldn't stop thinking about everything that happened last night. I don't know if I should just say it right infront of them or just keep quiet. But no one knows where maddie is..I need to get to the bottom of this. And quickly.

The door handle moved and I could hear voices outside the door. Zoe came in, she sat on the end of the bed. "Do you want to come to get lunch with me Alfie and joe?" She asks smiling. "We need to get some grocery shopping aswell"
I sat up. Would it be awkward? I don't know, I've been trapped inside ever since maddie went missing. I should go out. But I am ignoring joe.

"Okay, I'll get ready" I said surely "okay, see you down stairs in 10" Zoe replied, I got out of bed and turned on my phone. The time was 9am just enough time for me to get ready. I drawed the curtains and looked up at the clear blue skies.
Beautiful, I looked down and joe was sitting on the desk chairs playing with nala. Of course I missed him. My heart ached every time I thought about him, I don't know how I'm going to make it through today.

Finally, I got ready and was looking in the mirror. Wearing a Levi top, over the top layed my green Parker coat with a fluffy hood, blue jeans,  a pair of black Chelsey boots, And tucked my hair behind my ears.

Walking downstairs and Into the kitchen area I saw they were all outside in the garden. Joe was there too, how could I avoid him? Whatever gabby..I slided the French doors open and Alfie and Zoe turned their heads "hey gab!" She waved, "you ready?" She asked, they stood up except from joe. "Yup" I replied cheerfully.

"Get up moody guts we are going for lunch" Zoe said too Joe and gave him a look. He stood up and stared at me until we got to the car. "Can I sit at the front?" I said shyly. "Sorry gabby, your sitting in the back with joe. I'm teaching Alfie how to drive so he needs to watch me." She said  giggling. "Oi!" "I know how to drive it's just.." they laughed. So I sat in the back with joe.

Half way through the trip I turned my head and saw Alfie holding Zoe's hand. I could feel as though someone was watching me. Obviously it must of been joe but I didn't want to look back. I really didn't. Don't. Gabby no. I looked up at him and he was staring back with a blank face.

He looked back out the window. As so did I. God, why did you do that?-
"We are here!" Alfie shouted.
"AH" He startled me and everyone started was to laugh except from joe. He got out and slammed the door. Zoe and Alfie looked at eachother worried. We all got out without saying a word. We walked into a retro but cute café named 'the bakershop' we all sat down and the waitress passed our menus. "Hmm.." she thought, "double dates?" She laughed and we all lightly laughed afterwards quietly.

Me and Zoe ordered a toasted bacon sandwich with a orange juice, my fave. Joe ordered a classic English meal and so did Alfie. Getting into the meal, joe started to talk to me and actually physically contacted me. We were laughing about Irish people and their weird accents. I didn't mean to bring it up. I just did. "Why haven't you been talking to me then?" I blurted out. Crap! I swore in my head. Your so stupid I thought.

"I'll tell you tonight" he muttered.
The door opened, "ding!" The door stepper rang, "hey gabby!" A voice said, everybody looked behind and there stood jack and Conor.
