Chapter 13: Get the girl

Gabby's POV
Miles, and miles of trees and street lamps smeared across the window. It was a good few hours to drive to the destination crossed on the map, so I decided to make myself comfortable for the trip ahead, I turned my head to the right to check on Caspar. His jaw was clenched and eyes fixed onto the road.

2 hours later
The landscape crossed on the map led Caspar driving down a very tight road, it was dark and had a dangerous atmosphere about it.
I knew this was a bad idea, I bit my nails as he continued to drive down the edgy ditch, "Caspar, what are you doing!" Joe yelled "you're going the wrong way!!" He yelled once again, "shut up Joe! I'm not, look at it yourself" Joe grabbed the map of him, he opened his mouth as if he was going to say something, he looked confused at the map, "I don't get it" "that's because I'm right you idiot!" Caspar shouted. He sighed.

Opening my eyes, regretting it.

Lights begin to flash in the distance

"What the f-" my whole eyesight got blasted by a white beam of light coming from infront of the car, I heard voices of men and guns loading, the light faded as Each figure came into vision.
Caspar stepped a boot out of the car, whilst Joe hopped out afterwards. "Hey, stay here. Just incase" he kissed my hand. I nodded, I wasn't prepared for what was about to happen.

Joe's POV
"Here, here" a voice chuckled.
"Here's the doltish lot" Conor plod forwards leaving a eray of laughter.
I steadily gripped my knife out of my pocket. Conor lifted up his hand, "No need" he revealed a sinister grin. "Wh-" Caspar cut off. Conor dropped a body shaped, white bag on the road. "WHAT THE F-" I yelped. I ran towards the body, "Step a foot closer, and your dead" Conor threatened, he mumbled under his breath. Jack popped out behind him trepping towards the car, all men 'guards' came out and pointed arms at Me and Caspar.

Jack grabbed gabby out of the car, gripping her wrist & pulling her infront the car lights. "G-get, Get off me!" She yelled.
"You're making a mistake!"
Conor placed his hand on his hip, "you've put me in a no-win situation here! So I'm going to do the same thing to you.." he pointed towards us both.

"Both of them deserve to Die for their crimes, however Joe, Caspar. I'll let you spare one of them. He held up one finger, "Just. One"
A smug smile crawled up on Conor's face, as Maddie screamed in the bag.
"What crimes?" A shout came out my mouth.
"Hell no!" Gabby cried.
"Conor don't!" Caspar bleated down to his knees.
He blinked and shook his head, "Not after what they tried to do. You may be guilty of bringing them into this, but they chose to go along with it" veins started to appear across his forehead. 

"Is this the type of risk you're going to take for your dreadful future?" I disputed,
"Torturing innocent people with your stupid mind games!" Caspar cried out.
Conor crossed his arms and gazed across to Caspar. "Justice isn't a game Caspar, It's about time you learn that" Smiling to himself, Jack looked around. "Conor are you sure about this?" He whispered holding down Gabby.

"We never agreed to kill all these people!" Conor turned to Jack, "it's clearly up to Joe and Caspar isn't it?" He shifted back and gazed his evil shaded eyes into mine, "all eyes on you" still smiling. "Maybe this will help you make up your mind..boys?"

2 men approached behind our backs, shivers trailed all through my body as they jagged their guns to Both of our heads. "C'mon, who's it gonna be?" He sarcastically added. "Caspar's lover. Or your Lieutenant?"
Silence shook around the area as the decision took place.

"Gabby!" "Maddie!" We both yelled.
"What the heck Caspar?" I turned to him. "Who did we come here for?" He scrowlled at me.
My heart sank, "Shoot her" Conor looked at Maddie, "WHAT-" Caspar stood stuck. "We said Gabby!" Caspar gulped. "No we didn-"
"You didn't make Caspar happy." Conor locked his eyes on me.
"But I respect you sticking up for your own Love"
"Wait, we said Gabby!" Caspar stutterd in disbelief. "You did. But there's something else you need to understand. Betrayal" Conor let out in a soft voice. While Jack loaded his gun towards the moving bag. "You can't do this!" Caspar said whilst scraping his nails against the gravel crying out.

"Bloody figures" Gabby angrily spoke back.
"I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT" Conor moved his shoulders back and stood high. "You brought this up on yourself" He looked down at me. "Just do it"
I let out my last words "Conor-"
"NO" Maddie screamed as Jack pulled the trigger back.
"No!!" Caspar howled.
"Oh god.. They really shot her." I whispered. "Goddammit" Jack threw the gun on the rocks "I can't believe this! This isn't how we do things, this is madness!" Jack stamped. "Your pathetic, Jack" We lifted our arms up. "Your right.." looking down at his own two feet, "think about this Joe, you know what's gonna' happen here" Conor said with a neutral expression.
