Chapter 10: Gone

Cold, freezing cold.
Slowly- opening my eyes. I was in a car, sitting in a black leathered seat with Conor sitting next to me. My head was spinning and intertwining around me. Struggling to get my eyes open my head tilted back, my breath was like ice, SLAM. The door opened.

Something took ahold of me and grabbed me out of the car, "your alright" I looked up, joe? Flash. Conor?

Anna's POV
Sat down at the desk on the computer, I was revising. I'm so nervous for my exam tomorrow!
Wheeled my chair back and stood up too get my geography revision book out, the front door opened, I went downstairs to see who it was.

"Jack!" I jumped up and hugged him, I rarely see him anymore as he is busy most of the time, he hugged me back. "Hi Anna" he muttered looking sad, "what's up?" I questioned him moving away from him. "Did she?" "Yeah..like always" he said. I rubbed his arm for comfort. "Better luck next time Jack" I smiled, "I'll make you a drink"

I turned on the kettle and got out the 2 cups out the cupboard- "what happened? If you don't mind me asking" "she has a husband, 3 kids.." "and she lied too me about her age! She said she was just looking for some fun" he sighed. I sat next to him. "What did you say?" I wrapped my arm around him.

"Of course, I didn't take her offer. I'm not that type of person" he sobbed. "I'll never find someon-" the door bell rang, he pulled back.
"Don't worry I'll answer it brother"
I stood up walking towards the door & pulled down the handle, they flung the door back, running inside like they owned the place.
Joe, and Caspar walked inside the living room, I slided the door lock across and grind.

Caspar pushed jack, hitting his back onto the counter, "Where the f*ck is Gabriela?" Joe asked, "where is she!" He repeated and spitted in jacks face, "what?" He stuttered and his eyes grew wider with fear. "Gabby?" "Who is she?" He panted, with his hands up.
"For godsake" Joe grabbed his color tightly and threw him on the ground, I ran up to joe "JACK" I cried out.

"That's enough man!" Caspar shouted in joes ear, pulling him away. "WHERE IS CONOR?" joe continued to spit in jacks face. I butted in " he isn't here.. Caspar placed his hands on the back of his neck, "oh no" he muttered. Rubbing his eyes, Joe grabbed his knife out his pocket and searched everywhere round the house.

I couldn't let him find her.. they were heading down the basement stairs, I ran, blocking the entrance. "You shouldn't go in there." I let out a nervous laugh, Caspar pulled me out of the door way and kicked the door down with fumes of anger.
