Next morning (Alexs pov):

When I got home last night- or I guess this morning- I didn't even bother doing anything. I went straight to bed, tossing my bag onto my vanity and digging myself a big hole in the middle of my bed where I could be engulfed in the light blue comforter. I woke up the next morning by the sun blinding me through the window. Mentally I groaned and got up to search for my phone, which was on my bed side table.  I hummed along to the Little Mix song I had stuck in my head ever since my shower yesterday evening.  I made my way into Victorias room; she was already awake and typing on her computer in the corner.

"When do you think I should text Jack?" I plopped on her bed.

"You got his number?!" She turned around quickly.

"Well yeah, he was nice." I shrugged. "Its always good to make new friends anyway."

"No! You like him! He's cute too." She gave me a sly smile, turning back to the glowing computer screen.

"Okay, whatever. Did you get josh's number?" I laid back and looked up.

"Well of course, we talked on the phone a bit last night." She replied.

"Geez, I came home and passed out right away." I shook my head laughing.

"Anyway, my point is you should text him as soon as you can. He wouldn't stop making google eyes at you when we were hanging out after the party." She turned to look at me for a moment.

"That's weird." I scrunched my nose.

"Don't act like you've never liked anyone before." She smirked.

"Well, I guess I'll go text him." I stood and started for the door.

"Tell me what you guys talk about later!" She shouted from across the hall.

"We'll see!" I yelled back, looking down at my phone where I had his contact pulled up. I quickly just got it over with and sent a "hey, it's Alex."

It was weird because I heard a noise come from my bag as soon as I sent it. I looked through my bag trying to find the source of the noise. Soon I found a phone, confused, I turned it on to see it had a notification from my phone number. I sent another text from my phone, seeing another notification pop up on the unfamiliar one. I swiped up and thankfully it didn't have a password. It didn't just have messages from me, also from Conor.

12:22 am Conor: Lost Mikey.

12:40 am Conor: Want to stay a little later to help alex clean things up?

1:15 am Conor: Thanks for ignoring me, ill just find you.

*3 Missed calls from Conor at 9:33 am*

"Why would jack put his phone in my bag, or give me a different number. Should I call Conor? It says three missed calls." I asked myself out loud.  I pressed call now and waited as it rang.

"Someone miss placed their phone?" I said after there was a silence on the other end after someone picked up.

"Uh, who is this?" Conor's voice asked finally and I could faintly hear other voices talking in the background.

"Alex?" I let out a quiet laugh, he muffled his voice but I could hear him faintly.

"Who is it? Do they have my phone?" I heard a voice ask then Conor laugh quickly.

"Yes! You'll never guess." He said.

"Just tell me!" The voice said a little louder.

"Ugh, youre no fun- it's Alex." Conor said with a groan.
