"Blow me" I threw my eyes up.

"Yes please"

I couldn't help but laugh with a shake of my head.

"I owe you one Holls" He was clearly thankful for what I was doing. The only reason I was helping was because well, it must be tough being CEO and all.

"I still don't understand how you manage to leave your USB here. I'll email the things you need now but you better collect it because this is a one time thing"

He nodded his head, understandingly. "Where's Prince Charming?" the sarcasm in his voice annoyed me slightly and I sent him a glare through the webcam.

"Be nice, I can hang up on you any moment" I reminded him, "He's gone out with a few friends to celebrate, he should be back soon"

"So... he's drinking?"

"Why do you say it like that? Listen, Zac, just focus on your work right now" It really upset me when my best friend was a dick to my boyfriend and vice versa. I felt stuck in the middle and honestly wanted to punch someone sometimes.

Zac was the CEO of a company passed down to him. It was pretty easy to say he was loaded, money wasn't an issue. I on the other hand, worked two jobs, although one was only on weekends.

I hated them both.

Although I had to be thankful because that's how I met my current boyfriend, Max. Spilling coffee on someone in a diner usually gets you in trouble but somehow it got me a date, which then turned into a relationship.

"Did you hear me?" Zac asked.

"No, I don't enjoy listening to you grumbling, old man"

"I'm not old"

"Yes, you're old"

"I'm what... four years older than you? Twenty five isn't old"

"You're almost twenty six" I pointed out. He just sighed and shook his head. I heard the door of his office open and he looked away from his laptop.

I couldn't hear what the other person was saying but it caused Zac to let out frustrated sigh. He rubbed his stubble for a moment before brushing his hand through his hair. He did that when he was either tired or frustrated.

"I got to go, thanks again"

"Yeah, no problem. Try get some sleep at night"

He just chuckled before ending the call. I finished sending everything he needed, sipping the coffee now and again.

I heard the door open and glanced back to see Max walk in... well stumble in. I couldn't help but grin, his eyes lighting up when he saw me. He shut the door behind him.

"Baby" He murmured, walking to me, falling onto the couch, "I missed you" He kissed me and the smell of alcohol was extremely strong.

"Ew, no kisses tonight"

I pushed him back and he just frowned. His eyes went to my laptop screen, blinking several times.

"Why were you calling him?" He slurred, "I hate him"
