Justin heard the screech of tires outside his new window then the thud and a splash. The rain beat against his window as footsteps thundered down the hall and his parents ran outside to see what was happening. Justin sat alone in his room and waited for news. He hoped Raegan would be there soon. He couldn't wait. He remembered something about himself. More footsteps sounded and a squeal of wheels followed by shouting of "We are losing him" and "Move out of the way". He sat up straighter and looked at the glass on the door. A boy on a stretcher went past and Justin took a deep breath as they went past. The stretcher turned into the closest room and Justin listened through the paper thin walls.

Justin shook his head. He felt bad for the pour boy who died in this run down hospital. His parents began to speak to the doctor at the door and the doctor came in with a downcast look on his face.
Doctor: Justin, I have some bad news.
Justin: Yeah?
Doctor: that boy that died in the other room....
It was Raegan.
