Mr. And Mrs. Haddock

The Accident

Astrid's POV:
I was still on the couch relaxing waiting for Hiccup, when I heard someone yell from outside. I got up and Stormfly followed behind me. I looked at where the scream came from, it was from Valka (Hiccup's Mom) I looked in the direction she was screaming to and I see Hiccup on the ground unconscious with giant planks of wood on top of him, it looks like they fell on him. I rushed toward him, I see Valka run toward him too but I don't stop. Toothless is tying to get the wooden planks off of him, I help, and so does Valka. We get the wooden planks off of him and he is still lying there unconscious. I sit down with him and I set his head in my lap and brush my fingers across his face saying
" please Hiccup wake up, I need you, wake up, please ." Valka is now backing up all the villagers who are staring at Hiccup, looking to see if he is okay. Valka tells them to back up because he needs space, and that they should all go home, and that Hiccup will be fine. Then I see Gobber start walking toward us. He kneels down and picks up Hiccup, he doesn't say a word until we get to Hiccup's house. Gobber lies Hiccup on his bed and pulls the blanket up over him, then says, " I watched it happen lass, I was about to tell Hiccup, but it was to late, he was making something in my blacksmith shop and those giant wooden planks fell on him." Valka looked at him with a look that said, thank you, and he nodded saying, you're welcome. Then he left out the front door and didn't say another word.
Valka looked at me with concern and said " you look really tired dear, you should get some rest." I looked at her with the same concerned look, I could tell we were both really worried about Hiccup. " I will get some rest later, right now I just wanna be with Hiccup." I said. She looked at me and said "ok I am going home, I will see you tomorrow." I smiled at her and she smiled back then she left the room walked down the stairs and out the front door. I looked at Hiccup, he looked so peaceful. I looked at his eye brow, he had a cut from where the wooden planks hit him in the head, he had dry blood on it so I went to the bathroom to get a wet rag and wash it off. I dabbed his eye brow with the rag, it is cleaned up now. I put he rag down on the desk next to the bed. I stood up and moved Hiccup's hair out of his face and kissed his forehead. I saw him open his eyes slowly. He looked at me with his beautiful emerald eyes, and then I kissed the cut on his eye brow, he flinched at the feeling. Then I sat next to him in a chair next to his bed and held his hand.

Hiccup's POV:
I remembered what happened to me, I remembered I got hit in the head and all I saw was blackness, which means I was probably unconscious. But that didn't matter right now, I looked at the beautiful girl in front of me holding my hand and smiling. She asked "how are you feeling, does anything hurt? ,I was really worried about you." I looked at Astrid and said back "no I'm fine, my head just hurts a little." I touched the cut on my eye brow and I flinched a little. Astrid stood up and sat on my
bed next to me. She pressed her hands on my chest and kissed me passionately. We stayed like that for about a good 3 minutes, I didn't want it to end, but I also know that I needed to breathe. We parted, and just looked into each other's eyes still lost for words. I finally said "I Love You Astrid" and she said back "I Love You too Hiccup." She then lied her head on my chest and closed her eyes. I was still in a little pain but it felt good to have Astrid here with me.
