A Little Bit Of Pain

Hiccup's POV:
I opened my eyes to see that it's morning. I look over to my beautiful wife, and I kiss her on the head. She slowly opens her ocean blue eyes and looks at me and says " morning babe."
I kiss her again but this time on the cheek " morning milady." She keeps lying in bed but I swing my legs over to the side of the bed and I grab my prosthetic leg and put it on. I stand up on the side of my bed, but then I feel a sharp pain on my rib, I grab it and clutch my teeth. Astrid gets out of bed and walks over to me to help. She pulled my tunic off over my head and looked at my ribs, they were bruised, really badly. She grabbed my hand and walked me down stairs because it was hard to walk because of my ribs, if I moved a certain way they would hurt.
Astrid grabbed a wet rag off the table in the living room and pressed it on my ribs, it hurt a little so I winced, while clutching my teeth. She looked at me with concern and said " sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." I told her it was okay. She looked into my eyes and I looked into hers, we were silent for a few seconds until I said, " I need to be getting ready, I have to work today."
She looked at me upset, and she kinda raised her voice and said, " you are not working today, in fact you won't be working tomorrow either, you can hardly walk let alone work, today we are going to get you checked out by Gothi."(Gothi is kinda like Berk's
doctor). I knew I wasn't going to be able to argue with her so I agreed to go see Gothi and not work today or tomorrow. She helped me up, we didn't eat any breakfast,  neither did the dragons, we just walked out the front door to go to Gothi's. it took a while to get there since I was mostly limping. Astrid had her arm around me the whole time helping me walk. When we got their we were happy to see Gobber since he was the one who could understand Gothi since she didn't talk, she just wrote stuff in the sand that neither me or Astrid could understand. Astrid did the talking, she told Gothi what happened to me, and she asked what we should do to help me get better, and back to normal. Gothi wrote what to do in the sand and Gobber translated it for us. Gobber said, " she says Hiccup should just relax and not do much for a few days, so he can regain his strength, and to put this on to help the bruising." He said while giving Astrid a bag filled with herbs. He told us we had to soak the herbs in warm water before putting them on my ribs. We both looked at them and said "thank you." And then we walked back home. When we got home Astrid helped me onto the couch, then got two baskets of fish to feed the dragons. They both lied down on the floor eating the fish. I pet Toothless while he was eating. Then Astrid got the herbs we got from Gothi and soaked them in warm water. She came and sat on the couch with me while they soaked. She cuddled up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and we just stayed like that for a few minutes, until she turned to look at me and said. " Hiccup I am so sorry this happened to." Then I kissed her passionately on the lips for a few seconds then I broke the kiss and I said to her, " you don't need to be sorry, it wasn't your fault, I am okay." She smiled at me and I smiled back. We cuddled for a few more minutes then Astrid got up from the couch to go get the soaked herbs.

Astrid's POV:
I walked over to get the soaked herbs for Hiccup. I grabbed them and sat down next to Hiccup on the couch. I told him to lift up his arms, he did,
but I could tell it was hurting him because he  clutched his teeth and winced a little, I pulled his tunic off over his head and set it on the floor. Then when I looked back at him I saw he was staring at me with his beautiful green eyes. I put my hands on his bear chest and leaned forward. He closed his eyes and I closed mine. I kissed him slowly, and brushed my fingers through his messy auburn hair. We stayed like that for a few minutes then I pulled us apart. I grabbed the herbs and put it on his ribs. He flinched a little, then he looked up at me again, I looked back and he said, " I Love You, so much."
I smiled at him and said, " I Love You more." He then tried to sit up and kiss me but he lied back down because of the pain in his ribs. I then kissed him on the cheek. He smiled, then I smiled. Then I picked up the herbs off of Hiccup's ribs and set them on the table next to the couch. I grabbed the wet rag from table then I cleaned Hiccup off. I helped him stand up off the couch, because it was pretty late and we were about to go to bed. I let go of him for a second and he grabbed me by the waist and kissed me, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. I loved him so much, I wanted to stay like this forever, but then he broke the kiss, he stared into my eyes and I stared into his. We both smiled, then he said " thank you for helping me, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you." I just stared into his eyes then kissed him again. It was more of a peck on the lips, then I grabbed his hand and we went up stairs. Toothless and Stormfly just stayed in the living room and fell asleep. When we got to our bedroom. He sat on our bed and took off his prosthetic leg since he doesn't like to sleep with it on, and then he got into bed. I then took off my clothes, all except for my breast bindings and underwear then I put on my shorts and undid my side braid and got into bed, and snuggled up to Hiccup, he then wrapped his arms around me. His hands were kinda cold against my bear back but I didn't care. He then looked at me and said, " you are so beautiful." Then I snuggled further into his chest and kissed his bear chest then I kissed his neck. He just smiled and so did I. Then we closed our eyes, just waiting for tomorrow to come.
