PB WALKS INTO SILVER PALADIN ANGELA'S OFFICE. SHE THEN SPINS AROUND IN HER CHAIR AND LOOKS AT PB.

I don't think that we've gotten to really know each other like we should. 

[Pb] 

What is that supposed to mean? 

[Silver Paladin Angela] 

... I'm not like the last Paladin. From what I've heard he let you get away with a lot of stuff. I want to start off by stating that I'm not going to be that way. There are rules in this world for a reason Pb. And they ensure that the world keeps spinning without it diving into complete and utter chaos. Where were you most of today? 

[Pb] 

I was in town. 

[Silver Paladin Angela] 

What were you doing in town? 

[Pb] 

I was investigating a case. 

[Silver Paladin Angela] 

What was this case involving? 

[Pb] 

Are you sure that you want to hear about that? It's something very real but it will sound silly coming out of my mouth. 

[Silver Paladin Angela] 

Just get on with it.

Okay. There are a group of circus freaks who use their powers to hypnotize parts of the audience. They then get those audience members to commit crimes while they go out to the surrounding areas and loot it. There's also one other factor that I'm not clear about at the moment but it would seem that he uses the life energy of the crowds as a type of energy absorption. People who leave the circus do so without having a clear knowledge of how much time has passed and are extremely weakened as if they have been doing extreme exercises. I experienced this first hand. 

SILVER PALADIN ANGELA CHUCKLES AND THEN SLAMS HER FIST DOWN ON THE DESK.

Do you think that this is some kind of a joke?

[Pb] 

I told you that it was going to sound crazy. 

[Silver Paladin Angela] 

There is a deranged psychopath loose in the world who is trying to play God. I've seen the things that he's done and believe me, it'll be everyone's problem if he learns how to spread his little experiments on a larger scale. Now while he's lose you mean to tell me that you've decided to play vigilante on some totally fabricated excuse at playing hooky.

[Pb] 

It's not fabricated, I have research to back it up.

Oh really? 

[Pb]

Yeah, it's all stored on my phone. Reports of citizens suddenly turning criminals out of thin air as soon as the circus comes to town. And also unexplained burglaries that occurred at the same time the citizens were out causing trouble. Now if you can honestly sit there and tell me that there is some kind of a coincidence to this then you've really turned your eyes from reason.
