On the previous chapter:
Joshua's POV
Me: "So, (y/n)... What do you do for a living?"
Y/N: "To be honest, I don't "do" anything for a living. I still live with my parents."
Me: "Oh, I see. How about skills or specializations?"
Y/N: "I finished (y/s) in college. In terms of skills, it's just using Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop."
Me: "Cool. How abo-"
Someone cut me off.

Joshua's POV
David: "Hey guys! Matt Raub said we could hire a new editor."
Me: "That's great news! So (y/n), can you edit videos and thumbnails?"
Y/N: "Yes, I can, but only to an extent."
David: "Do you want to work with us at Smosh Games?"
Matt: "Yeah, (y/n). It would be fun. You'll get to work here with us, play games, hangout and stuff."
Y/N: "I'd love to! But th-"
Me: "Great! You've got to email us a resume thought so we can at least show it to Matt Raub."
Y/N: "Alrighty then. But there's a problem."
Me: "And what's that?"
Y/N: "I still need to ask permission from my parents, and I don't really have a place to stay nor a plane ticket."
David: "Say no more."
I looked at David's computer and I saw that he's already trying to book a flight for (y/n). I immediately stopped him and said, "wait, Lasercorn. She hasn't even asked her parents if it's okay for her to work here."
"Fine, but I already saved this as a bookmark in case we're actually going to book her a flight," he responded.
Me: "Okay, (y/n). How about this: you go to bed now and talk to your parents tomorrow about this job offer, then email me or Lasercorn about their reaction and if they'll let you go or not. Sounds like a plan?
Y/N: "Noted, Joven. I do hope they allow me, but they might find it too fast because my parents and I never talked about me finding a job nor moving out of the house."
Me: "Wishing you the best on that one, kiddo. We'll look forward to that email, and don't forget your resume."
David: "And if your parents don't agree, I'll get back-up."
Me: "Lasercorn, what kind of back-up?"
David grabs my shoulder using his raptor claws, then yelled "rawr". Y/N and Matt laughed.
Y/N: "Alright, alright. Thank you guys."
David: "By the way, don't tell anyone that we've met here. We'll be uploading a video about the Omegle meet-up, but we won't add you to the footage."
Me: "Wait, what? And why is that, Lcorn?"
David: "Because we don't want to add personal info to the video. We literally contacted Matt Raub about a potential new editor, but we didn't tell him that the new editor is a fan. And for a fan, I may say, you're not the shouty nor crazy fangirl type, (y/n)."
Matt: "That's because she screamed at Joven and he warned her not to 'fangirl' while she's talking to us."
David: "Oh. I do hope that your parents allow you though. You're welcome to join me in club SUB ZEROOO."
Y/N: "Haha. I will do my best. Thanks again, guys. Hope to meet you all soon."
Matt: "Good night, (y/n)!"
Me: "Sleep well, (y/n). Good luck!"
David: "Don't let the creepers get you. Rest well, my child."
~~~
Y/N's POV
Me: "I'll take care of myself, guys. Don't worry. You guys take care as well. Good night!"
And just like that, I got to meet Smosh Games on Omegle. I felt nervous about that job offer though. Yes, it would be so cool to be part of the Smosh family, even though off-camera. But hey, Wes used to be an editor behind the camera and now he's part of the crew...
...not that I wanted to be part of the Smosh Games crew, but I wish that if I ever get this job, I'll get to bond with them too. They're my idols and I really do hope that my parents would allow me to go to LA and work for them and work with them.
A/N: 700+ words. Achievement! I'm so happy for you, that Smosh Games is offering you a job as their editor. I really do hope your parents approve. See you in the next chapter!
