                              Mari's POV
I approached David and asked, "Hey, Lasercorn. Did you book (y/n)'s ticket yet?"
"No, not yet, Mari. I need to ask her the date first", he responded.
"Oh, okay. I'll call her for you, if you want", I volunteered.
"Sure. Thanks, Mari", he said and handed me his phone. I checked his dialer and noticed that he already saved (y/n)'s number. I called her.

                              Y/N's POV
I lied on my bed, when suddenly my phone was ringing again, and I noticed that Lasercorn was calling. I quickly answered, "Hello?"
"Hi y/n!", it was Mari who greeted me.
"Hey, Mari. What's up?", I asked.
She responded, "I called to ask you when you'd like to fly here."
Me: "Oh, well I haven't talked to my parents about the date but maybe three days from now?"
Mari: "Sure. How are you going to tell them though?"
Me: "Actually, I'm going to ask them right now."
I got up again and went out of my room. I peeked at my parents' room to see if they were there. 'Nope, they're not here', I thought.
I went downstairs, and noticed that Mom and Dad were at the living room. I straightforwardly told them, "Mom, Dad, I'm flying to LA three days from now."
Dad: "Okay, y/n. Your mom and I are very proud of you. Is that the final date though?"
Me: "Thanks, Dad. Uhm, yes, I think so. Why?"
Dad: "Oh, nothing. It's just that we love you and we want the best for you and if you want to fly tomorrow instead, we'll allow you."
                              Me: "Uh, thanks Dad."
Mom: "I know this is all of a sudden, sweetie, but we have decided to finally let you go and live on your own. Don't forget to visit us during the holidays though!"
Me: "Yes, Mom. I love you guys."
We did a group hug, and I went back to my room and continued the phone conversation with Mari, which I didn't notice that it wasn't on hold.
I immediately spoke, "are you still th-"
"I heard everything. I already told Lasercorn and he booked your flight. You're flying tomorrow at noon", Mari responded.
"Oh, okay. Did he send the printable ticket thingy on my email yet?", I asked.
She answered, "not yet, but he or I will text you once he has sent the email."
                              "Okay, thanks Mari!", I said.
"Don't mention it. I look forward to meeting you here and be the bestest gal pals!", she exclaimed.
"I'm looking forward to seeing you too, and yeah, maybe we could. Thanks!", I replied.
"Welcome to Smosh Games, (y/n)! See you!", she said.
"Thanks girl! See you!", I said back and hung up.
I lied on my bed again, thinking. I still couldn't believe that this is happening: that I'm meeting Smosh Games, that I'm actually going to work and hang out with them, that I'll be able to go to Los Angeles and live a new life. Everything seemed like it was going too fast. What did I do to deserve this? I've never been more happier in life than today.

                              Mari's POV
"Hey, Lcorn. Have you sent (y/n) the plane ticket details yet?", I asked David.
"No, not yet", David responded. "I'm still editing stuff."
Me: "You're editing? Wait, nothing was assigned for you to edit today. What are you working on, mister?"
                              David: "No, it's nothing."
I attempted to peek at his monitor, and told him, "no, let me see!"
                              David: "No."
                              Me: "Please?"
                              David: "No."
                              Me: "Pretty please?"
                              David: "No."
Me: "Please? With cherries on top?"
                              David: "No."
Me: "Super duper ultra mega pl—"
                              David: "Fine, but you're helping."
He showed me what he was editing. It was a welcome poster for (y/n). 'Very nice of him', I thought.
Me: "That's a very nice layout, Lasercorn. How did you get those photos though?"
David: "Well, I looked her up and found her Facebook account."
                              Me: "YOU STALKED HER?!"
David: "I needed photos. What else was I supposed to do?"
                              Me: "Good point."
We kept on talking about initial ideas for dealing with (y/n) when she finally gets here. Flitz finished editing a video and joined in the conversation. The three of us agreed to discuss the details and brainstorm more once the others come back from their Cell Outs shoot. I can't wait to see how this will turn out!
Although I can't help but wonder... why is David being surprisingly hyped on (y/n)'s arrival? What is he really up to?
                              ~~~
                              A/N: I'm back!!! I'm still busy with irl stuff, but I'm doing my best to update whenever I'm free. Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone. Have a nice day!
