As soon as I got in I went to my room, well our room.

I threw my bag on the floor and flopped down onto the bed with my phone and scrolled through twitter. Same old, same old. I grabbed my headphones and plugged them in, turning all time low up on full volume and singing along. I hadn't even notice calum had walked in the room.

He lifted my headphone up and put it behind my ear.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"What is wrong with you today Taylor. You were moody at lunch then you storm off the bus like some sort of elephant on a rampage and don't even bother to wait 2 seconds while I say bye to my mate"

"Are you calling me fat!" I yelled

"No what the fuck Taylor I didn't mean it like that!"

"Whatever calum, am I not allowed to be in a bad mood sometimes, you seem to be capable of it!" Rolling my eyes and putting my headphones back on, only for calum to yank them off again. And my phone holding them above his head.

"Taylor what is wrong just tell me" his tone was softer now.

"Nothing is wrong calum, like I said before. Just a mood swing, now give me my headphones and leave me alone." I said getting up of the bed and jumping to try and get my phone but it didn't work, calum was at least a head taller then me. The strange thing was though, I didn't even know what was wrong.

"Calummm" I yelled slightly falling back on the bed. He sat next to me and placed my phone and headphones on my stomach.

"I'm sorry Tay, I hate it when we fight" he looked at me and genuinely looked sorry.

"I'm sorry too cal" I smiled at him.

"How about I make you your favourite tea to say sorry" his eyes widened as he thought of the idea.

"You've just said sorry calum"

"I know but I quite fancy some spaghetti Bolognese" he smirked.

"Cal that isn't my favourite, chicken pie and mash potato is" i looked away from him to the ceiling.

"I know, but I like Bolognese and I can't cook anything else but spaghetti dishes" he laughed and I did too.

"Yeah sure it'll help mum out" I Said thinking of mum working her butt off to afford to keep feeding us.

"Yeah I'm sure it will, she's not home till 8 tonight" he said walking down the stairs.

She never is home till 8. That's when I had an idea. I raced down the stairs to tell calum. I burst into the kitchen and immediately said

"CALUM WE SHOULD GET JOBS!!"

"Woah, calm down Tay."

"No seriously cal, it's not fair for mum to keep working for us. Your 18 in a month and I'm 16, were legal and it will help mum"

"Yeah I guess" he shrugged. "But what as?"

"I don't know I can't get anything major as I don't have experience or anything but I could be a waitress maybe" I tried to imagine myself in a maid outfit, cleaning up people's dirty plates and glasses.

"Yeah I guess, is there anything to do with playing bass?"

Calum was an expert bass player. He had taught himself since he was about 7 and now he was amazing. He had a decent voice too.

"I don't know, like play gigs or something, or join a band"

"Maybe" he said stirring the spaghetti around in the pan.
